This is a great book to have to answer any questions you may have before buying or adopting your new Lab and also any questions reagarding how to train, feed, and care for your new puupy to older dog once you have them. the author tells you all the characteristics of the Lab and whether their personality will fit your lifestyle. He also gives clear instructions on everything from training to housebreaking to health issues you need to be aware of. I would reccomend this book for anybody thinking of getting or Lab or who has just recently gotten one.

I have two very loyal Lab's, and I just wanted to raise them without thinking I knew everything about their health. There is always something new to learn, and I want to do my part to insure they are with me and my Family for a very long time. That being said, I figured a book like this would cover all the basics and any special requirements their breed warrants! Excellent book, the information inside has proved very useful and describes needs that are very independent from other breeds. It describes everything from training, health issues, personalities, foods/treats etc.,.. This book is an older issue, but it covers just about everything you need to know, even if you already consider yourself an expert. Highly recommend this book to the novice or the long term owner of Lab's! Gives you a better glimpse inside their world.

I bought a 6 wk old yellow lab puppy....He's now 11 weeks old and is 95% house broke...He is truly an awesome animal...I wanted to learn all I could about him...so he could be all the dog I know he's capable of... This book is really an amazing book...Tells you everything from picking out your new puppy down to caring for your older dog....I highly recommend it....

Never got this item. Even though I did not purchase insurance the seller should have split the cost with me. I am not 100% certain it was even sent out. Seller tells me it was a postal error. Not sure it was.
