LaCie mini (301042A) 500 GB FireWire 400 (1394a) Hard Drive

ABSOULTELY INDISPENSABLE. That's how I described this storage drive in a previous review. I have an Apple Mini Mac and I love it. The LaCie Mini Hub is ideal for the application I have planned for it. Nothing else will do, if you have a Mini Mac I recommend that you get these storage drives. Unfortunately the manufacturer has decided to discontinue the line. I have been forced to buy used drives and I would rather have the unpurgated versions of it, VERY disappointing. A half a terabyte stacked on top of each other takes up very little real estate. Now I have four and a half terabytes. Still, I am content. If you can and have the need, then go for it !!!
