LG Voyager (Verizon Wireless)

This phone is an unbelievable toy packed with all the features. Similar to the touch capabilities of the iPhone, this phone has vibrate feedback and a full keyboard at a fraction of the cost. I've had mine for 5 days and can't put it down. DEFINATELY the coolest toy out there!!! The interior screen is crystal clear and larger than the env. The camera is 2 megapixel, which is very cool. i can't say enough about this thing!!!!! Also, doesn't require a special data plan like the pearl, iphone or others. standard plan with unstandard features.

I flashed this phone and it is on metroPCS service and metro does not offer touch screen phones yet. I love it and recommend it to anyone lokking for a full keyboard and touch screen.

I had the LG Chocolate and was interested in the LG Voyager but it was too much to buy it at the Verizon store so I started surfing on Ebay and came across this seller. i had the chance to check out my buddy's cool new LG voyager cellphone. I love the design, functionality. very lightweight. Overall I would give 8.5 out of 10.

This is a great phone all together. It has great call quality and great features. I thought about getting the newer lg dare but that only has a touch screen. The LG Voyager has a great touch screen and another screen with a full keyboard inside. Every menu has two possible layouts depending on what screen you are using. It has a good music player and has stereo speakers on it that can get pretty loud if necessary. It is a great phone for texting and taking notes because of the keyboard. If you are like me it is a lot easier to type on a keyboard that to use T9 or iTap. It supports up to an 8 Gb micro SDHC memory card and has a 184 Mb internal memory for all your pictures, movies and music.

He was a good seller... there was Good communication between the two of us... he shipped my product as fast as he could, got it within a week.. phone was a reasonable price, and the product was in perfect condition.. no complaints!

The phone is very sleek with tons of features. The touch screen is very accurate, and can be used on the web, and on some get it now features. It's also automatically disabled for phone calls so your face isn't pressing keys. The 2-year contract price is very reasonable at $210.00, which includes a 1gb memory card and other accessories. My personal favorite feature is the Vcast TV feature. The reception is great, no frozen or choppy images, its all clear and smooth. There's also a TV guide feature! It really is like a TV in your hands! There's also an antenna for urban or bad reception areas. All in All anyone would love this phone. Get it now!

If I had actually gotten the product I could help with this. Ebay is full of nothing but crooks!! I have had people steal my money. And I have had people not pay me for products after winning an auction.I would NEVER recomend ebay to anyone. Not even my worst enemy.

Love this phone. It is Verizon's match to the Iphone. Sleek look. Full keyboard for amazing texting. Touch Screen and zoom really helpful. Be aware that the Voyager does require a different "plan" than the basic plan with Verizon. You have to upgrade your plan in order to use all this phones features. LOVE IT!

I was surprised by price and also the seller was very quick to respond, he is a great seller and i liked doing business with him and also fast shipping!

I purchased the Voyager from Amazon for $160. So far I have been both impressed and disappointed with Verizon's constant attempts at controlling 100% of the customers experiences. If Verizon allowed the same Freedom as a Sprint or T-Mobile, they would be close to Perfect.

Pros:
1. Very clear sound. I have not heard any static. Calls sound like Landline calls.
2. Perfect shape design. I love the 9800 series when it comes to design. I love the full keyboard layout and the fact that the phone is a Fold-Open design. Keeping the inside screen safe. I have always preferred talking to someone on a Bar-Style phone, as opposed to a Flip-Phone. So you get both a Flip and Bar-Style phone.
3. Stereo speakers. Both speakers are loud and make content sound crisp and clean.
4. Due 18 bit screens. Both the outside and inside display screens are large and powerful. You would need a program called "Bitpim" in order to make and transfer your own clips and wallpaper to your phone. Don't waste money on the garbage, 1-use, content that Verizon sells.
5. 2MP camera. The camera can take clean pictures, and also has some Night features. NOT Night-Vision! Just some spec's that can help photos taken at night look clearer. Pretty nice camera for a phone.
6. Voice Features are great!My voice has a deep sound to it, which the phone has little problem understanding. I also like the fact that I can set the phone to read the name or numbers of incoming calls.

The Cons:
1. The Voyager being offered through Verizon, causes it to be limited by the BREW OS. BREW offers little to no free applications. Verizon will nickel and dime you to death for every little feature. They charge for application email support, for games, and for applications.
2. While the phone does have an HTML browser, it is not on the level of Opera mini. It cuts pages into pieces, where older version of Opera mini would keep it all in 1 window. The browser is also very slow when it comes to opening large web sites.
3. VCast clips are many, but not very clear. VCast has lots and lots of great clips. But unlike Sprint, Vcast clips are far more pixelated and there is no Streaming TV. VCast will also not work when in 1x parts of the nation and while roaming; unlike SprintTV.
4. VCast Mobile TV is nice, but not $15 a month nice. You get 8 channels... Yeah, only 8. So while VCast TV looks much better then SprintTV, the content is very limited. Out of the 8 channels, 4 are news. Every news channels shows the same things, so having 4 of them is a waste. It would be better to get 1 news channel and 3 more entertainment channels.
5. Sound of clips and TV are muffled and quite when the phone is closed. You can view clips on the outside display, but since the stereo speakers are inside, you will not be able to get great sound from them when the phone is closed. And since Bluetooth profiles have always been limited by Verizon, I no longer have a working set of Bluetooth headphones that work with this phone. There is still a headphones port, so you can use wired headphones.
6. NO STREAMING!! You can't access FREE stream radio or TV, unless you stream it from your computer.
7. GPS, but so what. Verizon charges $9.99 a month for unlimited GPS use. You also have to spend $15 for unlimited VCast for this feature to not charge you for data use. For a 24 hour trial, it cost $2.99 (PLUS DATA USAGE), which is a HORRIBLE PRICE! And since the phone only uses BREW, no free GPS application.

This thing is awsome. I love the keyboard and the touch screen is pretty sweet. It is much better than the Iphone in my opinion.

I was a little apprehensive at first. It was a toss-up between this phone or switching networks, and going with the iPhone. I chose the Voyager, and have not had any regrets at all. The music portion of the phone is great, although, it would be better if the phone could multitask. The touch screen is awesome. Sometimes, I feel it works too well in that it is VERY responsive to the touch, whether it's a slight touch, or leaning on the screen. The call quality is incredible, and the bluetooth functionality is incredible as well. I do believe that there should be more onboard memory because of the cost of the phone. Although, you can find an 8 gb micro sd card on ebay for under 50 dollars. The ability to easily sync music and data to the phone also makes this phone worthwhile. Just pop in the cd, install the drivers and app, and you're off. Overall, this phone is what I expected and more!
