LG VX8000 (Unlocked)

I would say this is the best phone I have owned. It has the functionality of a PDA without being a PDA. Large clear viewing screend. Good camera with zoom and FOCUS. Great video with sound. Everything you need in a phone and more

This has turned out to be a pretty nice phone having now used it for a year. My only complaint is that the buttons on the side of the phone are easy to press accidentally. Plus Verizon doesn't offer the "flix" in my area and so I can't rate that feature.

Battery life is good, screen display of info is good...I haven't had any problems with this phone and plan to hang on to it for quite some time.

This is one of the best cell phones I have ever bought. everything works great on it and I got it at a wonderful price. I highly recommend this seller if you are looking for a great cell phone at a reasonable price.

Well I have had this phone for close to a year and this is the best phone I have ever had. I just upgraded another phone on my family plan with the Motorola RAZR V3c and was thinking of using it for myself but the lg phone is just great and I plan on having it for a while. 5 out of 5.

I bought the NewPhone LG VX8000 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone I am ony interested inthe LG vx 8000 cell phone excellent quality, will purchase again.

I was surprised when I activated it through Verizon that this was considered an 'old' phone, though I purchased it new.

I love that this phone is a BIG one, I've lost other cell phones in my POCKETS before.

Also my other phones have had a hard time with reception in my house unless I assumed the Crane position, standing in front of a large window with left leg up and right arm up-makes it hard to converse holding that position like a living antenna-the LG VX8000 has the best reception I've ever had with a phone.

I'm going to order a few more as spares. And haven't even tried the video or camera features yet but everything else on this phone has been top quality. Glad that I had the option to buy this old model of phone as none of the new models rang my chimes like this one has.

I love the bigger ear piece and key pad. I'm constantly hitting the wrong button on my other phone and this great. Very clear pictures,I just wish there were better ring choices.

I have had this phone for almost 3 years. Best phone I have ever owned. I have a toddler, so this phone has been dropped, stepped on, thrown, and dropped again; over and over. I have never had any problems with it and would highly recommend this phone. Would probably be a great phone for the teenager who isn't the best at being gentle. Very sturdy!

I recently purchased a LG VX8000 for Verizon cellular services. Phones for Verizon are sometimes difficult to find, but I had no problem finding what I wanted on EBAY. In just a few clicks, I was able to purchase the phone I wanted. It arrived quickly and in great condition. The LG VX8000 takes very clear pictures and video clips. It also has an mp3 player. The sound is fantastic. With the phone closed I can scroll thru my songs, play them and control the volume. I just love my phone and ebay made it easy to find and purchase.

I like the phone for it BIG nimbers and display it will not work with blue tooth. The phone is nice and clear it is the one I needed.

I've had the phone about two weeks and it is great. It gets signal everywhere, even places my old analog beast can't. It can play mp3, qcp, and other sound and you can record voice memo's and every sound can be played as a ringtone. Picture ID, it takes video. The camera is the best ever and has all kinds of ways to set it to get the best pics and video and lets you do cool effects.

The only thing about this phone I don't like, you can't use speaker phone/voice dial with the phone closed.

LIKE - Great Phone ... MP3 sound Great. The Size is good too. I like the ability to be able to see the screen and hit the keys for once. Takes good pictures.

Dislike - Not enough memory. I would love to have more! Not enough Flash in low light!

First impressions of the VX800 yield the words "clunky" or "boxy", but style aside this phone is hands off one of the best flip phones ever made. I have owned 3 of these phones over a 5 year period. My first died because it fell into 20ft of water while boating on the lake. My second died by falling off an ATV and getting crushed. I can only hope this one won't suffer the same consequences. I am an adventurous person and I am confident no other phone could endure the abuse that I have put on the VX8000 phones. LG built these phones solid and quite large. It was the first to truly implement the EV-DO technology by Verizon, so it will work with VCast, etc. They quickly phased it out for the smaller and sleeker VX8300, which from my experience was a flimsy piece of crap. So to top it off I will give the pros and cons of the VX8000.

Pros:
-Well built (can easily withstand drops from 10ft)
-Fast interface
-Large and bright screens
-EV-DO so it can do anything the new phones can do
-Stereo sound (loud!)

Cons:
-Pretty large (if that bothers you)
-No external memory card slot
-No bluetooth support

If you keep busting your phone and need something sturdy you should consider looking into the VX8000. I can assure you that your friends do not have a phone like that.

I decided to purchase this phone as an in between phone until my contract is up in september. The phone is awesome! The shipping was free and they even sent me information regarding the activation process. It made switching my phone so much easier than I imagined!

The refurbished cell phone I purchased for my husband works better than any of the new ones he has had. His contract wasn't up, when he dropped his phone in the river and a new phone was quite costly. After looking on line in ebay, I found the one he wanted and won the bid. It came with all accessories withing a few days and has been great. Peggy

I LOVE this phone, so went to ebay to hopefully find another to have as back-up. I can afford to purchase any cellular phone I'd like, but still prefer this 2-year old LG 8000 to any of the new ones out there. The keys are user-friendly, the screen is large and easy to read, and the operations are straight forward. It has an interesting shape and a comfortable feel.

Buying a reconditioned phone is risky, the phone I purchased had a battery that would not hold a charge for more than 24 hours, they no longer make this size so I could not buy a new one. I purchased one from a cell phone company, same issue. The seller replaced it once, then I just gave up. Beware on used phones, they were replaced for a reason.

This is a replacement phone for my daughter. It's a little bigger than desired, so doesn't fit into pocket as easy. This particular unit however works very well, there hasn't been a problem since we got it. I like the larger than usual screen, the numbers on the keyboard are easier to see as well. It's a solid sturdy unit, that looks like it withstands the use by a teenager. Very happy with it!

The phone has all the features you need. It is larger than I expected, but it looks good and is easy to use. I actually have enjoyed the larger size compared to the smaller sized phones I have used in the past. The keys are much easier to use when texting and when trying to drive.

I bought the phone because my other one died and I didn't want to get into another contract. The phone works well for what I use it for which is mainly just to make calls. I thought the price was reasonable and the phone is in perfect conditon. The only thing I dislike is the phone is a little larger and heavier than I like.

This seller did everything they said they would including the steps for activation. I especially liked the free shipping. i would definitely buy from this seller again.
