Being a seller of cellular phones and accessories on Ebay we always get to test out and try many different phones The LG 6100 is a nice follow up to the popular LG 6000 and Adds a Decent (Loud) Speakerphone, Voice Commands, it is TriMODE For those of you who live or travel in areas that still require analog signal (Not Tri Band as so many people seem to get confused by) Very Informative Outer Caller ID display Time, Date Speakerphone Status Etc as opposed to the OLED outer display of the 6000 which had the scrolling display The LG VX 6100 has a greyscale Outer LCD display The 6100 has a very nice inner color screen only bad part is the black Icon with white edges The Camera takes OK pictures for a phone but the Samsung A670 seems to take better quality pictures but its a phone first the Up and Down Volume Keys on the phone are a little to close to the Voice Commands Button Inside the Buttons are decent sized and not crammed together like some smaller phones (Kyocera Slider for Example)Reception and battery life on this phone are Average To Very Good(Using Verizon Wireless Network) battery Times and performance will vary depending on your carrier Overall this is a Good LG phone That Wont Disappoint Review ID: 10000000000092094 Was this review helpful? The battery won't even last an entire day if you make more than a couple of phone calls. As mentioned in an earlier post, the phone can get VERY hot if you speak for more than 1/2 hour. Hot enough that it is uncomfortable to touch. I also really dislike the external buttons on the side. When you wear a phone, you are apt to hit the external buttons from time to time. I can't tell you the number of times mine has gone into the stupid "driving mode" because it sits against the back of my chair at work. This is really a problem if you are in a meeting, open your phone, and it blurts out "Please say a command". There have been other times when people have used my phone and hung up on someone because they hit these buttons. There is absolutely no way I have found to disable these external buttons, and I have spent a lot of time trying. I am highly disappointed in this phone, but there isn't a dang thing I can do. The cel companies have you trapped once you buy the phone. You are in a long-term contract with them and you can't get a different phone from them without paying some really inflated "list" price.
