Great Little Unit!

This is a startlingly good little unit for the prices you can get it for these days. I got a used one and am blown away with the brightness (it has 1400 ansi lumens), the small size and weight (about 3 or so pounds) and the general performance.
Has VGA port and supports XGA resolution, which is nice for clear details. The controls are basic and don't have the bells and whistles of newer more expensive models. You have keystone but cannot control each of the 4 corners individually for instance.
My one little annoyance is that it doesn't have (at least the one I got) any sort of retractable stand to adjust the angle and keep the heat from going nuts. Simple enough to improvise but would be nice to have.
It is a DLP projector and the lamp is supposed to last 2000 hours, good for my needs (not as a tv but for computer uses, specialty short sessions). Would love to see a dvi port, it has no speakers but RCA and s-video in.
Generally I am VERY pleased. I got a great deal and if you aren't paying too much for it I would recommend the unit any day. Just (as with all projectors) get a sense of lamp life / previous use, cause those things can be more then the price of the unit itself! (sound familiar to anyone with laser or ink jet printers these days! :)
