LG LX5450 (ALLTEL Wireless)

This is one of Alltel's first picture phones. It takes nice pictures but if your going to use this cell to send a picture to your email and then print the resolution isn't very good for this purpose. The phone overall is a good working cell phone. It has voice activated dialing, picture capablities, sms,(text messaging) and a lot of other nice features. But Alltel doesn't sell this phone anymore. The good news is that it is GPS compatable. This means that according to the FCC you can still use this cell phone on the Alltel network. Older Alltel cell phones that don't have this feature are not able to be activated on the Alltel network. Overall I have owned the 5450 for over two years and its a good working cell phone. Alltel has several new phones coming out soon and they have all the bells and whistles as well. But Alltel will only activate Alltel phones. They will not activate other companies cell phones. So buyer beware. How you ask do I know these things? Because I do technical support for Alltel!

I love this phone. I had one and it got wet, so I upgraded to a newer phone. I was upset when it wasn't near as durable, easy to use, and didn't have near the service. So I bought another one off here and still love it. The camera takes good pictures, but not as good as some of the newer phones. Also, it can only hold 20 pictures at a time (including contact pictures). I only didn't give this phone an "excellent" rating because it is several years old, and therefore doesn't have many of the new features. It does have polyphonic ringtones, but you cannot download mp3's or anything like that. I love this phone! I am very hard on phones and this one always seems to last. I highly recommend the LG LX5450.

This phone worked great when i had it it sounds like the guy that said he hates thes phones was getting cute off because he wasnt paying his bill anyway good phone

Me and my son have one of these phones and we ahve had no problems with either one of them.....I would still be using it if someone hadn't given me another newer phone. You will have no problems with this phone.

I decided to buy this phone because the seller said that it was used very little and had to scratches, and it did look like new. What I dislike it is that I had to call an alltel rep and get this phone reprogramed because it would not text out or send or receive picture messages. The rep had to put me on a list for a prof. tech because she couldn't figure out what the problem was. But one the tech called me back 48 hours later he was able to fix the problem and it truley is like new in every wayu now. The battery life is short, but i can live with that. I bought it because my old cell phone was messing up and I couldn't hear in the ear piece. Would I buy it again? You Bet. I like having a camera phone. I really wanted an AX5000 but the bids were going way to high for me. This phone is an older model but do like it.

I bought the phone and had troubles with the microphone and had to send it for repairs; after it was fixed ithas been a good replacement phone.

I purchased this item for my nephew. It was just what he was looking for. The item was just as described. He absolutely loved it. We are very satisfied with this phone.

Works fine! This was just the phone that I was looking for. I had a phone like this before and liked it so when I needed another I knew what I was looking for.

I was sort of upset with the delivery time, and the product itself had some wear that wasn't touched on in the photos. I am, however, happy with the overall product. The battery life is low and fast, but that's another story and I can take care of that particular problem myself. But, I do thank you. IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST CAMERA PHONES, IT WAS AHEAD OF IT'S TIME, ALL ELECTRONICS GET BETTER WITH TIME, I SAY IT IS A WONDERFULL PHONE FOR UNDER $75.00.. SO DON'T COMPARE IT TO A $400.00 PHONE....

This was a great buy. My dad fell in love with the phone. I didn't think he would like it, but he did. I really got tired of him complaining about his phone and hinting that he wanted a new one so i decided to search for a phone and this was what i came acrros

I bought it for the price and results from the brand of the phone.The phone wasen't the problem but the seller didn't list it as broken and I didn't try to activate until it was to late. The items I buy on Ebay are just as good as the sellers,some good and some bad.I have learned to check out the sellers more than the buyers,so buyers check them out.

The phone works fine.... It still had a picture on it of the previous owner and was a little worn... but it works great and was a good buy.

Junk, dont' buy it. Had to send it back to the seller, they sent me another one and it's doing the same thing - turns on and off repeatedly. Alltel guy said that's common in those type of LGs

My daughter's cell phone was dropped in a mall parking lot and run over by a car. This cell phone was a temporary replacement until our contract expired and another free one was available. This phone has a new housing which looks great HOWEVER, the antennea has a problem and the reception is terrible. I now have to stand on the back porch with my arm in the air and cannot move or I risk being cut off. Seeing all our other family cell phones have reception at our home, this is a flaw in the phone itself. I will just have to make do until October and my biceps are looking good.

phone works okay it is in good shape and it was a up grade from my own phone i am happy and enjoying it

We decided to purchase this phone because of the good reviews that were given about it and it seemed to be at a good price. But, the reception is awful. It goes to analog constantly. Many times, where we get reception with other cell phones in our family, this one has no reception. We are not happy with it at all.

I purchased the LG LX5450 phone when the same model phone I had previously for 5 years finally held its last conversation. With several hundred new models of phones from which to choose, I chose another LG. The LG features a camera that takes clear, precise pictures and even has an album with which to store them. Other features of the phone include choice of screen savers, a variety of ring tones, lighted key pad with large enough numbers that even my older eyes can see, and the phone offers several choices as to how you can read the time. The feature I like best is the compact size of the phone. Easily held in the palm of your hand the phone is perfect for a pocketbook, or briefcase. My son says I need to get a newer phone model, my reply to him is: "if it aint broke don't fix it!" I can truly say, "I can hear you now" with this phone.

I recieved the phone very quickly. It was in brand new condition with the accessories. The price was excellent for the quality. I bought a new phone at the store with less features the month before for almost $200.00. I will definitely recommend this supplier fo my friends who need a new phone and in fact I already have!! Sorry for the typing errors my cat thinks she has to lay on the keyboard when I type. Thank you again fo the excellent quality and quick service.

The phone arrived promptly, and arrived in the condition as it was listed in the posting. I would recommend this seller to another. The phone worked, and no problems arised.

I BOUGHT THIS PHONE LG 5450 BECAUSE I BOUGHT ONE ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO FOR MYSELF THE I DECIDED I WANTED TO CHANGE PHONES SO I GAVE IT TO MY SON. MY FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD NEW PHONE BROKE AFTER THE THE FIRST YEAR. MY SON'S LG 5450 IS STILL RUNNING PERFECTLY. SO I DECIDED TO BUY THE LG 5450 AGAIN. I'VE HAD THE PHONE FOR A WHILE NOW AND STILL NO PROBLEMS. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE.

ever since i obtained this particular cell phone through alltel, my experience with it has been very excellent. it has gone through numerous drops onto the ground, severe bumps while in my pocket, and even ran through a full washer cycle( and i did have to remove the battery and allow it to dry for a day). if you need a phone that is simply for performance and no unecessary frills, im sure youll love this phone. i still use this phone and with over six thousand calls, its still running perfect. i recently purchased a brand new lg however it was only to replace the outer housing so therefore it looks brand new once again. as a truck driver by trade, its reception is second to none which is a definate necessity. 04-07-2007.
