LG Glimmer (ALLTEL Wireless)

The phone is really quite nice looks like a really $$ one and has all the features of a great phone then only think about the phone that was a disapointment was the browser you think with everything else on the phone being top of the line that the browser would be the same but its not its kind of like they through it on there at last min and put the cheapest one they could fine but other then that its GREAT!! i would say if you have the chance to get one dont pass it up!!

the phone got here very fast! only thing was, it had a few scratches on it. More than i had expected anyway, besides that, phone in perfect condition, and shipping was excellent

I absolutely loved this phone. I had mine for over a year before it went out. Unfortunately, Alltel does not sell them anymore, and you can't even get them replaced through warranty. My touchscreen went out. It was there one day, dead the next. Still, if I could get another, I would in a heartbeat. By far, the best phone I've had.

I love how to touch screen is very responsive compared to other touch phones from alltel. It has many features and an excellent camera that catches every drop of detail and i love it. Another thing is that you can text or type right from the screen you done have to open it to type which is a good feature. All around the phone is amazing and i love it.

The phone is great for texting and those who aren't really ready for a full touch screen phone. The phone allows you to use the keyboard and touchscreen which makes some actions easier to perform.

This phone is great looking and very smart operating. I've always wanted a slider phone and this one fits perfectly. The touch screen is awesome and very responsive so I don't need to press very hard. The only thing that can be annoying but is very good to have is the unlocking of the phone. Even when you are on the phone to hang up you have to unlock the phone to press End. But overall, if you want a pretty cool phone then pick the Glimmer.. which I think is the best phone Alltel has to offer.

This is a great phone. It takes a couple of days to get used to. The touch screen is a little overated but it has a keypad to make up for.

the phone was in good working condition when i received the phone at least that what i though. but the phone was sent to me with a charger that went to a motorola phone which this phone is not. the phone stopped charging so i went and purchased the correct charger to phone, however, by the time i purchased the correct charger the phone battery porter hand been damaged due the fact of the incorrect charger that was sent to the phone. now i am without a phone. it was not even a month before this phone tore up. i am very dissappointed due the fact of how much i paid for this phone

I do not like this phone very much at all. It is not what is cracked up to be. The touch screen is very finicky and it does not respond very well. I would say that it works about 80% of the time. I had bought this phone a month or so ago and am already thinking of getting a different one. Also Altell and LG have this phone so locked up that the only way to get custom ringtones is to either buy from Alltel or have the ones (if they work) you put on set to random. Awful phone. Looks great feels great, does not function well.

As far as the setup of the menu goes, I like it. And it is a fast phone. The design of the gui is stunning and I do like the small little charachteristics of the phone. I also like that their is a textile keypad instead of just an on screen keypad. In the event that the screen is not working I can easily use thes buttons to navigate somewhat.

Do not buy this phone uless you are just looking for a pretty phone and do not mind the headaches that will come with it.

Good phone, I bought it used. They had been using it about 5 months and everything was still fully functional. I like the touch screen and the fact that it slides open and has a traditional keypad makes it even better. All in all I highly recommend this phone.

It's very easy to use and just the right size. User friendly and has plenty options that are all of great quality. Love this phone!!

I didn't love, or like anything about this transaction. I received this phone, it has water damage, the cover where you plug your charger in is broken, and there was pornography on the video part of this phone. I am stuck with a phone that doesn't work and never will. Then on top of it under the seller's feedback he wrote stuff to make ME look bad. This is the kind of seller we all hope to avoid on EBAY. Paid a lot of money for this phone and was just straight taken advantage of. But whatever!

I am happy about the purchase of my LG Glimmer. I like the touch screen and the slider. I have always wanted a touch screen and found this one cheap enough to buy.

I really like this phone. It's such a big improvement over the old phone I had. My old company, Alltel, was bought out by Verizon. I liked my old plan but wanted a new phone. The only way I could get one and keep my current Alltel plan was to get a used Alltel phone. The ratings were very good on the Glimmer and it has not disappointed. After receiving the phone I went on Verizon's website and activated the phone myself using the eBay guides. It was very seamless and I am saving money every month.

It's a good size, feels like it'll last unlike it's plastic counterparts. Having both the touchscreen and slide out key board is really nice. the touch screen takes some time to get used to but i'm completely happy with it. it takes great pictures for a cell phone and the flash is a plus. the user interface is great and the having the microsd is another plus. the only two things i do not like about it is 1. to call from your contacts takes more time than an average phone, (looking up the contacts and scrolling to find the correct person is a bit cumbersome). 2. It could just be my building or where i live, i don't know, but sometimes it doesn't get the best signal and i drop more calls than my old lg scoop (don't get me wrong i like this phone much much more than the scoop). I would recommend this phone for some who doesn't want to pay more for a smart phone plan, wants the features of a touch screen or just wants a touch screen and isn't ready to give up the manual keypad just yet. all in all, a great purchase.

the phone seems to be a pretty good phone. The charging port seems to have some problems with coming loose and the touch screen has some problems every once in a while. It has a nice sturdy case and the features are good and you don't have to have a special more expensive plan to use the phone all in all it is a good phone.
I do however have problems with the actual LG people and the way they do not stand behind their products and their customer service is terrible.

THe phone is a great phone..only side effect is that it freezes sometimes and its hard to press the buttons on the screen

I am only giving it a 2 out of 5 cause mine just broke...I had it for exactly one year when the charge port went out (and I guess this is common)...really sad, loved the phone when it worked and now I cannot replace it cause it is discontinued...
