LG Flare (Virgin Mobile)
I bought two of these for my twin sons who are 11 years old. This prepaid phone is easy and inexpensive to use. I bought it for them for mainly emergency use and it's worked out well. You just pay as you go and don't need to maintain an expensive plan. I would recommend this phone as a first phone for kids this age.
