LG F7200 (AT&T)

First off, I usually like LG phones. I've had many of them and they always impress me. This one was not very impressive.

I expect a lot from a cell phone because I use them frequently (I think everyone does nowadays). This phone is GREAT from the outside. It looks cool, it feels good in your hand, the slider works great, it's easy to open and operate. But the phone disappoints me with its functionality.

First, the volume on the earpiece isn't loud enough (especially when you're in an even moderately noisy environment, like the mall).

Second, the slide mechanism is easy to operate, but it seems a little too easy to close. The phone has rubber on it to assist in gripping the phone which is nice, but it's far too easy to close which made me afraid I was going to hang up on my boss when I was driving down the road eating my bagel and tightening my tie.

Third, the battery life didn't seem to be all that great. I need a phone that I can leave unplugged for a day or two and still have juice. If you use this phone, you will need to charge it at the end of the day.

Finally, the speakerphone just isn't that great. It sounds ok on my end, but others constantly complain that it sounds weird.

I'm usually not picky with phones. This one however I didn't like exactly.

First off, I'm a girl, okay? We wear tighter jeans than men. If you're planning on putting this little phone in your pocket, don't count on it. It's REALLY fat!

Next, the sound is really good! Aside from it's "fat" design, you can hear perfectly and loudly.

If you're a big text-messager this isn't the best phone to have. If you're speedy at typing it sometimes gets difficult type on numbers 1-3.

With voicemails, multimedia messages, and text messages, it's pretty much your job to keep track if you have them or not. It gives you little icons at the top if you recieve a message. I wasn't into that very much.

All in all, it's an okay phone. For me it wasn't good enough to keep. I now have the LG CU500 and I like it much better. Don't let the LG slide phones cute style fool you into buying it.

I love this phone. It has a great connection and is very small so it can fit anywhere. The only thing I dislike is some of the features are hard to use or hard to find. But once you get use to the phone, it's wonderful.

i have one of these phones and i used to like it, i hate it with a passion now. this phone keeps calling people by itself and it sends blank messages, plus my lil cingular icon button works horribly and my battery last 3 hours if i use it. but when i first got it, it was pretty cool, to bad it doesnt have a camera on it. i would prefer the sony ericson swivel phone, i cant find that one anymore thought

like the slider feature, but dont like the slider feature. answers when removed from pocket accidentally.

I bought this phone to try Cingular's push-to-talk with my family. Overall, I'm extremely impressed. The phone is easy to use, has a good display, and the slider is very cool. But, the push-to-talk is really the best part. You can setup your PTT contacts like a buddy list so that you can see who's available before you try to PTT them. And, if they're not on b/c their phone is off, you can send an alert so that when they're back on they'll see that you want them to call.

Again, I'm very impressed. Cingular did a great job with this PTT phone!

I like the LG 7200 phone, because of it's sleek look, I love the slider option, and the clarity of the ringtones. I bought this phone, because Cingular wanted me to pay a deductible for my replacement phone in which they no longer offer, and was not working well with the new upgrades to the system. I shouldn't pay for a phone I purchased a year ago. The upgrade wasn't even what I wanted, so i felt that if I had to pay for a phone, I might as well pay for something I truly wanted, so I purchased the LG 7200. I had been looking at this phone a a couple of other slider phones, and decided that this was the one for me! I wish the PTT feature was standard, because it would serve as a get tool for me, but it isn't really affordable for me at this time. I one thing I do not like about the phine is the spaekphone option. The speakerphone was also another reason I purchased the phone, but you cannot hear very well on it, and the in and out effect of the conversation is irritating, because you sometimes miss something the caller is trying to say. But, if I had to recommend this phone to other Cingular or any type customers, I would, because I got what I paid for, and it's a really cool phone! Buy the LG 7200 or the upgraded one, because it's worth it!

I bought this phone because I thought it was cool. I like the pictures I saw
and thought I had to have it. I'm not sorry I bought it. It works great and I have got a lot of compliments on this phone.
I gave it a 4/5 rating because I will be honest I've never had a slider. But I can honestly say it works good for me and its something different.
I don't think a person could go wrong by buying this phone if that's what you want. I really like mine.
As far as ringtones and graphics, I don't get into much of that, but I have download a couple of ringtones that I like. What else can I say. It is a great phone for me.

THE REASON WHY I DECIDED TO BUY THE PHONE IS BECAUSE WE WERE GOING WITH THE CINGULAR PTT. ITS OKAY THE PTT ISNT LIKE SOUTHEREN LINC THOU. BUT IT WORKS. ITS LITTLE BUT NOT LITTLE ENOUGH TO GO IN YOUR POCKET IN LESS YOU GOT BAGGY PANTS. LOL. THE ONLY THING I DONT LIKE ABOUT IT IS THE BATTERY WANT STAY CHARGED LONG AT ALL. YOU HAVE TO CHARGE IT ALOT. I HAVE BOUGHT 3 OF THEM THOU. AND THEY ALL DO THE SAME. IF I CAN CATCH ANY GOOD DEALS ON THE OTHER PTT I AM GOING FOR THEM NEXT TO SEE IF THEY DO BETTER. BUT SELLERS WERE WONDERFUL AND EASY TO DEAL WITH. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. THEY WERE REALLY NICE. I REALLY LOVE EBAY ITS COOL IF ONLY PEOPLE WOULDNT BID AGAINST YA. LOL!! BUT ITS COOL THOU.

I wanted a slider phone. The LG phone is a good phone however not as good as I anticipated. I don't like that it is heavy and I can't view length of individual phone calls.

I liked the product, but it was my fault because I neglected to read through and see that she did not offer paypal or another secure form of payment. She wanted me to send her a cashier's check or money order (no personal checks), for the item. I was not going to risk that because she was a brand new seller and/or buyer. She had 1 review. I wrote to her and explained that if she wanted to set up paypal, which will protect me and her, I would buy the item. If not, then I would walk away.

She reported me to Ebay and left me negative feedback but I don't care. I have been a good ebayer for years and she is the only negative comment I have received. I rather take the negative comment then loose my money, as I have had that happen to me before on Ebay, and they did nothing to help me. Loosing $600 is a lot worse than loosing $150, but it's still the principle behind the matter.

Ebay services are ideal but buyers must be smart about what they're willing to purchase. One mistake may cost anyone a lot of money.

the phone was in mint condition even better than the add said it works perfect and was shipped fast and well packaged. the only thing i did not like was that the phone does not have bluetooth capabilities. but this was a back up phone for me anyway so that really didnt matter.the seller was very honest and shipped the phone immediatly after purchase i was surprised to recieve it so quick. i wish all sellers on ebay were as good at this one thank you

My daughter loves this phone, its a cute and fun. Its easy to use and although its an older model has a lot of features. My daughter currently has a L2 but has been wanting a slider phone. The LG allows her to use push to talk and she just loves that little feature. This model does not have bluetooth capability, a camara, and its a little bulky. All that said for a preteen its a great 2nd phone

I loved this phone from day one. I broke first one so it was replacement for broken one. Has everything I like and is not an over kill type phone.

i like the phone, it works excellant, i decided to buy it because the price and quality were both good, im still using hte phone, and i plan on having alot more use out of it.

Good phone. A little bulky and out dated but what do you expect with a flip phone for that price. I think it all would have been salvaged with a better screen and camera. I'm not sure if the phone was damaged or it was the actual screen but it was very faded out and very hard to read at times, especially from the menu screen. If you need a quick phone for a temporary situation this would be a cheap one to get. It's totally night and day now since I'm now using a Blackjack II!!!

I bought it while i was trying to figure out which phone to switch to from a Nokia 6030. I bought several actually. Liked the LG ALOT..great features, big screen, colorful, easy to use. I just prefer a "candy bar" style phone as opposed to the slide of the LGF7200...just Personal preference. Highly recommend it!

i bought it cause i need a new phone worked excellent everything no need to buy a new sim car cause it works with the one i have the only thing i didnt like is that i had to buy a new battery but appart of that i made a great deal.i decide to buy it case i need a new phone more advanced in some features and for the look

The phone is great. The only problem is that you can not see that you have a message since the phone is cingular and I am using t-mobil. The speaker botton does not always want to coperate with the user.

I bought this phone for my daughter in law and she loves it. The functions are easy to read and use and very clever. It is a very smart and stylish phone. I would buy another!

So far it's a good phone for what I bought it for the ptt sound is very low with no surrounding noise you can hearpretty clear,not for someone to use outside all the time, it is an average phone no extra features other than push to talk,I only bought it cause my husband has a ptt phone and until the phone I want comes out from sony ericsson(W710i) which is a walkman phone with ptt this is what is the cheapest ptt out with cingular.

The only thing is that It has no charger. Oh well, still love it. Kind of weird that it was sold without a battery, but You can find them online for almost nothing.
