LG CU400 (AT&T)

The phone is awsome, Bluetooth works with both file transfer and headset. Easily transferred all phone numbers from my old phone to this one via bluetooth. Speaker phone is good enough to use in the car on the road. Display is bright and clear, although some icons are small and you can't change their size. PTT works very well. Only problem is the battery life. Make sure you have a spare charger at work and in the car. Once the battery indicator starts to show less than full charge it drops off VERY fast! I still like the phone and think it is a good phone for the money.

I have lived with the phone for several months now and the battery life has improved much with several charge and discharge cycles.

The LG CU400 cell phone is great. I bought this phone for several reasons. It has the quad-band GSM technology and the ability to accept international SIM cards, including those in the United States (AT&T & T-Mobile). Most of all, this phone is compatible with my hearing aids’ T-coil and the voices come across clear. I have callers saying that my voice comes across clear too. It also accepts my headset’s jack for further amplification, whereas most cell phones on the market are now switching to the Bluetooth technology for headset/hands-off devices. This cell phone, I believe, does accept the Bluetooth technology. I don't use all the added features that comes with the phone but I am sure it will come in handy when the time permits.

When my contract was up with my current phone company, I spoke with a very helpful sales representative. She suggested the LG CU400 as the best quality choice for the price. I am extremely grateful that I took her advice. It is simple enough to use without being plain. The camera is high quality and includes a video/voice recorder. Ringtones are crystal clear in sound quality and the screen is very easy to see. This flip phone is very durable, as I have dropped it many times and everything still works! One of my favorite features is the multiple alarm settings and calender with alarm reminder settings. My husband laughs at me, but I pull out this phone at the restaurant just to use the tip calculator. It also has internet, PTT, a loud speakerphone, music id, mobile tv, and downloadable games. I recommend this phone to a variety of people because of its many uses.

This was a great purchase. I have had very few problems with it. I love it! When buy this phone be sure that it is compatible with your plan otherwise you could end up wasting 140 dollars.

I bought his phone because I wanted something that was going to be just as good or better than the razor that I had. The LG has extremely good sound for the mp3 & the pictures are clearer than clear the quality of the phone is excelent however I don't like the fact that the outer screen doesn't show a picture & that the words are soo small. Those are the only things that I wish were different.

This is my third phone that I have purchased to use on my Cingular account. The second one was the Sony Z525a which I also LOVED (and my kids and wife still use currently).

However, I wanted the video features and 3G access that this phone offered for the speed of Media Net, Cingulars internet service (the Z525a is a little slower here). The moment I saw the box (which is small compared to the one for the Z525a) I was worried because it was SMALL. But the old adage "Great things come in small packages" would best describe this phone. Simply put it ROCKS.

The LG CU400 is loaded with features, PTT, Email, Contacts, etc. (my family uses the PTT function a lot, which is one of the reasons why I went with this LG model over other phones). I am not disappointed, and I don't think you will be either.

LG has simply outdone itself with this phone from the "clamshell" design which is sleek smooth and compact (in thickness), from the bright LCD screen and nice sized key pad to the Cingular Video, MobTV, and radio (including XM radio) features that are able to be used with this model, it provides entertainment when you want it where ever you want it in a nice sized package. This phone provides everything I needed, and wanted in a neat style that is sharp and sleek and easy to use.

Make sure you purchase the unlimited Media Net plan as you will use a lot of data time and it can be expensive unless you have it. And you have to subscribe to MobTV, and radio but both are inexpensive and handy for "down time". I would also suggest you invest in a good case to store the phone in as is something you will want to keep protected.

Overall It is a good phone that is easy to use and provides excellent reception and can adapt to any situation you might find yourself in.

The features of this phone are awesome. It has cingular video, push to talk, mp3 ringtones, 3g technology, camera, speakerphone, good memory... I've never seen a phone with so many functions.
I don't like that you cannot use the speaker with the phone close and the camera as well. The outside is not so pretty for me.
If you search a phone with functions this is the phone for you. If you search a pretty phone this is not for you.

I love the LG CU400 phone. There couldn't possibly be a better used phone on the market for the price. It is an immensely sturdy and fairly attractive little flip phone. For people seeking bells and whistles, this phone comes with not 2, but FIVE (5) pre-installed games (including Ms. PacMan & Tetris).

It has an immensely powerful speaker phone and super clear screens. It comes with a large number of preloaded ring tones too. I really appreciate the fact that it is Blue Tooth capable, AND it takes a STANDARD size plug headset (no special adapters required here). The interior LCD screen is color, but the exterior LCD screen is black and white. Actually, if one remembers that it is a PHONE, then the black and white exterior screen should be irrelevant.

I'm not sure why it matters, but for a phone, it takes tremendous still pictures as well as splendid video. Personally, I'm always perplexed by the number of people that complain about ridiculous non phone features like photo quality, FM absence, video speed, e-mail capacity, games, and so on. My thinking is that, if you want great pictures, video, FM, e-mail, games, and the like, then buy a darn camera, camcorder, stereo, palm pilot, laptop, GameBoy, or whatever it is you expect these TELEPHONES to be!

I mean for crying out loud people, it is a PHONE! Let me say it again. IT IS A PHONE! If it makes clear calls that rarely drop, and does everything a PHONE is supposed to do, then what is the big deal. Yet, I am venting as I digress. :) With this little phone, one would be very impressed with the still pix and video recordings. It even has voice memo recordings, speed dial, and push to talk (not an At&T usable feature). The only thing it is lacking is hands free auto answer while driving. I haven't determined how to use voice activated dialing on it, or if it even has the feature.

It appears to have 3-way conferencing, but I haven't tried it to see for sure. I'm also not sure if it has FM, or e-mail capabilities, because I don't (and WON'T) pay AT&T extra fees for those frivolous types of features. So, if you want to make TELEPHONE CALLS and be heard with crystal clarity, as well as have a few great non-phone features to boot, then this is the little phone for you - especially if you are on a budget. And YES, it does have special rings for groups & individuals, as well as caller ID photo capabilities. Like I said in the title, the "LG CU400 phones are FABULOUS!" Yaffa

I have used this phone for a couple of years and recommended it to my Mom if that tells you how satisfied I am with this phone.

This purchase was my first time buying something on Ebay and it turned out to be a good one; I made an offer to the seller for 8 of 10 items/phones and, it seemed to me like, it arrived the next day!!! I was not expecting it that soon and I really didn´t open the box until a few days later...upon checking the phones they were in better shaped than described; I charged all the phones, and all of them worked well...they were all christmas gifts for a few friends, and everyone is still happy. I recommend this seller to everyone who is expecting a great purchase because I will, definitely, buy something from them, again.

I bought this simple inexpensive phone that has basically all needed funtions including a camera to replace the one I have exactly like it which has not been working properly. Wanted something I was familiar with how to use to get me through my contract period.

Phone works great, nice screen, good quality speakers. Fast 3G service. Easy to use. The only minor disappointment is the half mega-pixel camara, but they still come out decent on your computer. Over all I highly recommend this phone if you want a good quality 3G flip phone. Oh, let me say it's VERY durable, have learned that a few times.

I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I HAVE HAD THIS PHONE FOR OVER A YEAR AND DROPPED IT AT LEAST 50 TIME ON TO PAVEMENT AND CONCRETE AND STILL WORKS. IF YOU ARE RUFF WITH CELL PHONES AND NEED ONE THAT WORKS THROUGH IT ALL THIS IS THE PHONE FOR YOU. IT HAS ALOT OF COOL FEATURES FOR ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE AND ITS ALOT CHEAPER THAN ALL THE OTHER PHONES OUT THERE

I bought this phone through AT&T (got it free after rebate) with main intentions for tethering an internet conection through the phone to my laptop. and I must say I am very impressed, I travel a lot and have used the phone as my main source of internet for my laptop, even whilst actually moving! It works just about everywhere, and works especially great in 3G areas.
I opted for this after I found that with an air card you will need to sign a contract, with this you can cancel anytime and a LOT less start up fee is involved.

Efficient service, and great description. I am frustrated on how slow the bank transfers have been with paypal.
