Alltel has had so much trouble with this phone they have pulled it from their shelves. Mine lasted for 2 weeks before it died. The phone powered itself down, it would not charge it would not power up, it was just dead! Alltel would not give me another, and I was informed they would no longer offer the AX490 for sale. While it worked it was actually a pretty decent little phone. Average reception and the Tap keys were really cool.
