Excellent TV choice

One of the screws in the back of the TV for wall mounts, was cross-threaded into the TV from the manufacturer. TV is light. Included is a special rag for cleaning the screen. Looks beutiful on my wall. Display quality is excellent.

) Looked at some 720p and LCD sets.
Went with plasma to get better picture for the money.
Glad I held out to get this 1080p THX set.
Picture is incredible.
Can see some faint image retention when screen goes blank sometimes.
It is not bad and don't believe this is long-term concern.

Great deal on a very nice plasma
) What can I say, the 50PS60 is about the least expensive 1080p, 50" plasma I could find, and it's a 2009 model, too, I believe. The picture is terrific, with nice deep blacks, very crisp images, bright whites. No question it takes some fiddling to get the color settings right (I'm probably pickier in this regard than most), but you might be happy just choosing the THX setting and leave it at that. I believe this model also has modest power consumption, and I haven't noticed any image retention in about 1 month of use.
