The LG3280 is a very good CDMA cell phone. It even has a jack for an external antenna hidden away under a little foam plug under the back cover. This was a very important feature for me. Oddly, this is not even mentioned in the owner's manual. You can buy an adapter cable to fit this jack at: www.wpsantennas.com. This is a single rate phone, so there are no double minutes deducted when roaming. It is no longer available directly from TracFone, but does show up fairly often on Ebay.
It is the perfect phone for my needs and I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of phone. I liked it so well, I even bought a spare.
