  Lego Star Wars Rules

I'm a child of the 80s. No, I wasn't born then. I played Bard's Tale on my Apple IIc, Duck Hunt and Gyromania on the Nintendo (yeah...the first one) using the robot's gyroscope controls as footpedals. Ms. PacMan was my girlfriend. I envied my neighbor's Sega.

Since then, I have dabbled in the new consoles. I actually own a PS1. I have seen the PS3 on screen, but was distracted by poker. My newest PC is from 1999 and its power supply is dead. Went back to the Mac in 2001 and have a G5. Never had time to buy a game.

Until now.

For the past generation style of games Lego Star Wars rules. You use your lightsaber, shoot guns, fly starships, race in the pod races. Everything a 4 year old and his dad can use to bond for 30-45 minues every other day. Graphics are great. Easy to control even on the keyboard (plus the 4 year old gets to learn letters and their location on the keyboard). Best part...you don't really die...ever. Not motivated for a moment, let the droid army blast you to Lego smithereens. In 2 seconds, your Lego self is back in action through the miracle of rebuilding.

Oh, and the humor is there for the adults. Not looking for a lawsuit, but this game is like playing a Pixar cartoon. Fun for the kids. Funny for the adults. Sweet.
