Lego: Star Wars 1... Whats there to say? If you even remotely like the Star Wars Series, then this game is a MUST play. It goes over Star Wars Episodes 1-3 of the whole series.

I purchased this for my wife, and found out that its a cooperative gameplay, and we both had TONS of fun playing through the story together. You can also play it with one person, and the other character is a cpu.

Great, and a MUST play. Also would recommend the 2nd part of the series, which goes through Episodes 4-6.

This game is great. Its got cute little lego characters from Star Wars episodes 1 thru 3. Its fun to play with either my husband or my five year old son, so its great for any age. Its not very violent because everything is made of legos and can be put back together. It follows the basic storyline from the movies with some minor exceptions to make it work with two players. I haven't played by myself yet, but it can be done. I can't wait to buy the sequel.

I had a great time playing this game. Not to hard--not too easy but I thought it could have been a little longer finshed it fast but had a great time playing it. You can choose tons of characters too-FUN! Anyone can play' kids & adults & enjoy it. Didn`t seem to find any glitches while playing. Buy it!

I loves this game! The graphics are great! LEGO did a great job with this game. I love the way you can use your lightsaber on bricks and break them apart. The story line is excellent as well!

I am a 40yr old man and purchased this for my kids, the twins(10yr) and my littleson Ty(7). The kids asked me to play the game with them just once, and once was all it took, I'm addicted. This game is great, some of the best family time I've spent playing with my kids. It's not only fun but I believe that it teaches skills in teamwork and attention to detail. We have had so much fun with this game we bought the second game after we beat the first one a couple of times and are looking very forward to the third. Grandslam we love it!!!

First off, I would have rated this game as excellent if I had only played it and not the sequel. In many ways the sequel is better in terms of gameplay, cinematics, and level design, but that's more of a complement to Traveler's Tales than anything negative.

Lego Star Wars follows the events of Star Wars from episodes 1 - 3, but from a Lego perspective. The levels are broken down by episode, with 17 in all. As your character progresses through the levels you unlock more playable characters, and you all earn money (studs) so when it's all said and done you can have around 80 playable characters, including Darth Maul, Chewbacca, General Grevious (very cool) and even young Boba Fett (rockets not included).

The great thing about this game is that it is designed for kids to play. There is no gratuitous violence, blood or anything that a gaming parent would find objectionable for their kids. I played this with my 3 year old son and with little help from me he was able to cruise through all 17 levels in about 6 hours total. The controls for this game are very easy to grasp and there isn't much of a learning curve.

The only real drawback to the game is some of the levels are very challenging for little kids and not easy to pass without help. This problem was addressed and fixed in the sequel, and will be fixed in the anthology version coming soon to a PS3 or Xbox 360 near you.

One of the coolest things about this game is you can used your saved data and load all your characters into the sequel. Now you can have Darth Maul fight Bespin Han Solo or any other match-up you can think of.

If you're looking for a fun game to play for you or your kids, this is a winner, but do yourself a favor and get the sequel as well!

This Playstation 2 game is perfect for kids of all ages. My husband and my 4 year old daughter love to play it together. The graphics are pretty good, too!

I would say this is a fantastic all around game. the characters you use, the environments you play, and the story line are all top notch and follow the movie scenarios very closely. if you are looking for an extremely challenging game then this is probably not for you. the fighting techniques are basic and other than timing your button hits there are no moves you couldnt do just by mashing the buttons. this aside, it is an extremely fun game. it would be fun for a child or even an adult star wars fan...

This game is so fun and i like when you do free play because you can switch from like Yoda to R2-D2 you know and i really like it me and my brother played it and me and my friend beat it in scale of how hard it is it would have to be a medium i mean there is parts that are easy and parts that ware hard so yah it's a real family game I Love It!!!!!

I wanted the Star Wars Lego because of the great reviews and I love Star Wars. I first thought it was for little kids but I actually enjoyed playing the game. It had great graphics and plenty of characters and ships to unlock which just playing the levels over again to obtain is fun, especially being able to go back through the game with someone else. I love it, it is something I can always go back to and play again and again.

i bought at Christmas for my 5 year old son. he had this game before but had managed to ruin it. it is one for his forvorites, challenging to all bu easy enough for a 4 to five year old. my son and others enjoy this game very much

My son wanted it, its an awesome game for kids aournd 8-10 years old, great graphics, and easy to move and operate. its simple, not to many things to collect and so on, so if you have a son or daughter that likes videos games but has problems or loses interest in them fast, and dosent like the too chidish games, this game is perfect for that stage.

I bought the game for my son for Christmas. Took it out of the package and played with it for a little while. It easy to learn and very easy to play. Loved it very much.

It is a very entertaining game and my nephew loved it. It is not violent with blood and gore but old time non-bloody killing which is acceptable to me for a ten year old. He spent hours laughing and playing this wonderful game.

Bought it for my kid, after we saw other kids were playing it at some party. Apparently available on multiple gaming consoles.
Cool LEGO characters, story line, light saber and "the force" action. Level can be played multiple times until collecting all the hidden treasures. Free play mode allows to pick any character for the level. Some levels are adventure like, others are arcade like. New levels open upon completing initial levels. Not too difficult, but not dull.

Buying extras; though fun, are useless, keeps you wondering what the extras do.

Liked everything about the game, disliked nothing. Will keep me and my kid occupied for a while.

I had rented this game for my son. He loved it. Couldn't get him to stop playing it. I felt bad when I had to return it. I was just looking around on ebay for ps2 games so i could get an early start on x-mas. When I saw this game i knew i had to get it for my son. This game is just like legos, you have to build things like bridges. The characters are lego people. I think any younger kid that likes legos will like this game.

I like Star Wars and Legos. What is better than putting the two of them together. I even collect the Lego Star Wars toys. I had to buy this game because my game broke.

There are so many violent shoot 'em up, bloody games, with those great graphics out there nowdays. That is what I thought of when my 7 year old son asked for a playstation 2. I was thrilled to find the Lego games. Yes, he still shoots at bad guys, or kills them with a light saber. The difference is the bad guys are lego pieces that fall apart, not realistic looking humans that die a bloody death.
The Lego games allow multiple players that can start up or drop out mid game.
I have been very happy with them.
