LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (Xbox, 2006)

I bought LEGO Star Wars II for my eight-year old cousin. He absolutely loves the game. Since he plays with legos and has seen the films, the two combined into one video game is more than he can ask for. The gameplay is simple to learn, the game is entertaining and humorous, and since the player can die an unlimited number of times, even the youngest kids can play and enjoy. When a character "dies", their "body", which is a lego minifigure, pops into pieces. Leaving the game clean for kids. The gameplay is largely based on solving little puzzles by using "the force", shooting LEGO storm troopers and collecting coins to buy one of the 60 characters included in the game. What suprised me, is that it is actually extremely enjoyable for adults as well. Myself and my friends have enjoyed playing, and since the game can be two-player, I can also play with my 8 year-old cousin. In two-player mode, the second player can drop out at any time (to take care of those things adults have to worry about!) and re-join whenever they like. This game comes recommended for parents looking for a clean game for their kids, but not something so lame that the kids are not interested in playing. I highly recommended Lego Star Wars II for either Star Wars or Lego enthusiasts of any age.

Awesome game. Love the free play mode. Endless hours of entertainment for my family! Its completely awesome that they made lego pieces so realistic. Children will get a kick out of never dying. You just fall into pieces and get back together again.

My kids love the game and the seller got it to us on time in the condition described. We were satisfied with the price and product.

My son was pleased with the game. It was all that he thought it'd be. He says it is fun. It works fine and is challenging to play. He'd recommend it to other 10 year olds!

THis game is a great addition to the first Lego Star Wars Game. Sticks to the star wars story very well and never gets old.

That is right! The secret is the DROP IN/DROP OUT CO-OP mode. This way if you are tired from work you can still spend a few minutes with the punk-punks and have a good time. Also if you get addicted to the game and get stuck at a point in the game. Help and more family bonding are a just a yell away!

I have played with my 8 year old, and we love it. The only thing is sometimes it's hard to figure out where to go, and what to do. But if you struggle long enough, you eventually find it. But it is a must have for any Star Wars fan. A great compliment to Lego Star Wars I.

It's a game to have fun with; I can see the replay value when you play with a friend. Even going back and playing the story to get better is a bonus

My kids wanted this game after playing the LEGO Star Wars game for XBOX which is another great game. My kids absolutely love these games. I really think it was a product worth buying. It is a two player game that allows players to enter and exit the game and it has different play modes that my children figuring out with little help from me.

The only downfall for this part II of the Lego Star Wars game is that is rated for everyone 10 and up, I wish it was more for everyone.

This is just fun! Clever and accurate story line, plus lots of hidden things to find. I like playing it but my 6 year old and 4 year old LOVE IT!!!

I like that the game came in a timely manner, I also am very happy with the description, it was exactly what was promised. I decided to buy it because the price was good for the game.

Right from the start my son and I were hooked on this game (similar to the first title that was out). We enjoyed the focus now placed on the missions and some more unlockable content. A good time for all ages!

I bought this as an early Christmas present for my husband, who had already rented it (twice!) from our local video store. We have had so much fun with it - I don't play video games, so can't really rate it on that level, other than what he says (great play-again-ability)...

Anyway, what has made this game the most fun for me is the discovery that when you play as Chewbacca, you can actually kill the storm troopers "manually" - that is, by pulling off their little Lego arms - and the sound is a delightfully whimsical "pop pop" - anyway - it's great fun to watch!

This game was at the top of the "Santa list" for my 8 year old grandson. It's not bloody like so many of the games out there for X-box. Buying this game wasn't just a fluke for me. I shop e-Bay all the time. It's very convenient for me (I'm disabled) and having the packages delivered right to my front door--well life doesn't get any better. No Christmas crowds to fight, no high priced gasoline to buy, and items that are brand new and, in most cases, less expensive than you find them in the retail stores! e-Bay, I am very thankful that you are here, and to the Seller of Lego Star Wars ll, you've made a little boy and his 'Granny' very happy for Christmas! May I call you, "Santa?" <smiles>

We never received the product. We waited almost 3 weeks when we finally heard from the seller that there was a problem. They refunded my money, which I appreciated.

I brought the game for my 6 and 4 year old son who originally wanted it for an xbox 360 but i couldn't afford the game system so i found it on the original xbox which was okay i havent heard any cpomplaints from them yet so i assume they are pretty happy about it. I have only played the game maybe about 2 or 3 times at the most to help them win the game. Its very fun its just that for a grown-up compared to a child the people go really really really slow especially to a person that has an impatience problem but i guess once yopu get over the hump about them going so slow the game is pretty fun! which i can say myself sometimes its hard to give the controller back. lol!! but overall this is a good game that they could've thought of for the kids i think. hope this review was very helpful to the next person.

We LOVED playing Lego Star Wars (Episodes I,II, and III), so I knew wew ould adore this game (especially since Episodes IV, V, and VI are near and dear to our hearts). I was right. The characters are fun, and there is even a feature that allows you to swap costumes. Imagine Darth Vader in the Princess Leia bikini!!! There are also little dance moves involved in some of the punching sequences that are fairly amusing. However, what was once Super Jedi mode has changed into an easy Jedi mode due to the higher availability of coins and the ease in defeating opponents. SO, the game is not quite as challenging as its predecessor. On a final note, I must suggest this game to any and all Star Wars fan based on Chewie's sound effects alone.

This is a definite MUST BUY for the die hard Star Wars fan!!!

Even better than the first. The ability to create your own Lego character is great. My 9-year-old had a little trouble figuring out how to use the character he created, but he still had fun doing it.

Its STAR WARS and LEGO Great Graphics,Sound Effects!Love The Game Played it with the Kid.Great-The Building of Lego parts to The Fighting with force powers,lightsaber,using different Characters To progress to the next level is actually showing my 5 year old about team work,patience and problem solving.He loves any thing that has Star Wars..Then you add the Lego part also used to build to progress to the net level or stage of this game is great they both love it 5 and Brother and Sister playing side by side learning to coexist and not arguing about anything helping each other and the greatest plus NO SSPLIT SCREEN in 2 Player.
