LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Xbox 360, 2007)

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Xbox 360) is a lot of fun, with thrilling but not overviolent gameplay, cute Lego characters, an excellent soundtrack, bonus goodies galore, and above-average online support. It is a fitting finale to the Lego Star Wars series, leaving an idea of what' to come with the Lego Batman and Lego Indiana Jones projects.

This game is one of the best games I have ever played. It is fun and challenging, but not too challenging. You almost feel as if you are playing with you legos in you living room and at the same time fighting the darkside. I would recommend this game to any star wars fan and to any child who still believes in the unbelievable. 5 STARS!!

Lightsaber battles with two-inch plastic warriors; vehicle creation with auto-Force powers; flying through space in a toy spaceship -- these are just a few of the reasons why we dive into the LEGO Star Wars games. They're unbeatably fun and addictive. The movie sequences are hilarious, and the LEGO-ized graphics are incredibly cool.

For all the gamers out there who missed the first two releases, and for anyone who'd like to relive the thrills all over again (brace yourself for the enormous crowd of players shouting, "Me!"), LucasArts will release LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Due in November for every game platform, The Complete Saga features every stage from the previous LEGO Star Wars titles in one convenient package.

That's not enough for me to sign up, but the additional new content has me thrilled with anticipation. The PS3 edition is most significant, as it will support full SIXAXIS motion controls for all the space combat stages. Only a couple seconds of SIXAXIS action was demoed for us before the demo tanked, but that was all it took for me to know exactly which version of the game I'll be playing first when it's released. The PS3 version is also lightyears above the rest in terms of space battle presentation. The LEGO-made Star Destroyers are bigger, and the depth of field gives the game a much more immersive feel. You might find it hard to spot major differences in the ground battles, but there's no denying the extra effort that has been put forth to make the space portion as next-gen as possible.

Are you ready for one more PS3 surprise? For the first time ever, co-op play will be available online. Drop in and out of games at any time, from any location. Though it's technologically possible to bring this feature to Xbox 360, LucasArts stressed this aspect for PS3.

Wii fans get a special treat as well in the form of motion-controlled lightsaber attacks. Different shakes -- up and down or side to side -- appeared to have unique effects in the way the lightsaber moves. Based on what was demoed, it's safe to assume that the controls will fall somewhere in line with what Nintendo produced last year for Zelda.

Will any other versions be treated to special content? LucasArts didn't say. But if not, I say more power to Wii and PS3. It's about time that Sony's console received the high-quality (and exclusive) content it deserves from a third-party release.

All of the console versions will contain new stages, including the chase through Coruscant (the one in the beginning of Episode II) and the battle over Naboo from Episode I.

I purchased this cause I found it for 20 bucks and figured what the heck, a cheap game for my 360. I popped it in and was hooked from the get go. This game made me buy all the Lego series and they are all great. This game is one that the whole family (2 at a time though) can enjoy. Plenty of things to accomplish and a fun way to do it make this game worth more than what you pay for it. Allot of these games nowadays just cant live up to that. So dont pass this one up or any other lego title, they are that good to be in everyones library

Children love it, count duko is a bit challenging but with a little practice or help from an adult it can be beaten

I loved the animations and the rewards for completion of each game! This game is fun!! My son received this game for his reading prize for the summer. The anticipation for the game and excitement to get it was not my favorite part as he would remind me everyday, as I would remind him to finish his reading for the day. As a kid I would have loved this game as I loved legos ALOT! As an adult, I still love to play with legos and StarWars makes it all so much more fun!

For a while I looked from a distance and thought the Lego theme's were lame. That was until I tried the first Star Wars demo on XLB.

First of all I like Star Wars series and loved playing with Legos as a kid so when they put all six episodes in this game I went on my bidding hunt and won the prize!

Accessibility:
This game offers 1-4 players co-op online and off (no split screen). Players can jump in and out of the game when ever they want without stopping. Teamwork is "recommended' for this fun packed family game!

Controls:
A tad bit complicated for the very young and very novice but easy to master.

Game Play:
You play through the basic story with some additions and comedic cut-scenes in the typical Lego fashion. At a certain point in the game you can mix and match parts for your own character as well as unlock new characters from later Star Wars episodes!

Sound:
You will feel like you're in real Star Wars action because the sound tracks sound straight from the movie. Music, Guns, Light Sabers, and Vehicles sound like they're from the movie.

Graphics:
The graphics are smooth, clean, crisp and pleasant to look at the scenary in some stages seem to come out the TV. Very nice!

This is yet another Highly Recommended Game.

I'm not a huge fan of Star Wars, but I really enjoy this game. The characters look very funny and there is no dialog, but it can easily keep you entertained for hours. Multiplayer was certainly a deciding factor in my decision to purchase this item and I don't regret it.

Fun game!Follows movies great, lot's of humor. Didn't like camera angles sometimes. Hard to judge distance.
Overall a good game, would be great with a little more tuning.

If you grew up watching Star Wars and playing with legos than this is the perfect game for you. It gives you a new view of the classic story from the first movie all the way through the series. A lot of fun can be had whether you are an adult or younger child.

This game is perfect if you are trying to introduce your child to the Star Wars universe. It has all the iconic moments from episodes I-VI and it add a little humor to the series by interweaving cutscenes with some good game play.

The game really isnt made for adults and if you are trying to play a serious star wars game, this is not the game for you.

If you are just looking for a nice trip down memory lane with all of the assorted heroes and villains of the SW universe this is the game for you.

My son wanted this game after receiving Lego Indiana Jones for christmas. It is amazing what the designers did with this game. The graphics and funtionality of the game are fantastic. It really helps to have seen the movies that are involved with the game to be able to know what to do with most of the tasks that need to be done to proceed in the mission. Of coarse their are thing that you wish to have been included in the game but that does not take away the enjoyment of playing or watching as someone else is playing. Higly recommened for 8+ years of age.

My husband and i are both in our mid 30's and we really enjoyed playing this game, also our son loves it as well and he's only 2. Great graphics, just a great family game all around.

In a gaming world where you have to watch what your younger children see and play. LEGO Star Wars is a gem in a basket of coal.

My 5 and 8 year old get emmersed in this game. There are so many places to explore and so many characters to see and play with. We originally had the two original saga games for the XBOX and when I recently bought an XBOX 360, I could not deprive my children of this experience.

When you start this game, you play in story mode. You go through each episode with about six chapters in each episode. But, once you finish the story, you can play in FREE mode, which lets you pick what characters you want to use and you will find places you could not reach in Story Mode.

I cannot say enough good things about this game. I would recommend it to anyone with and without children. You'll play it for hours.

My son used to play games he was killed in IRAQ and my grandson 2nd but not 1 and 3. He can play on that game 24/7 He has defeated it now and I loved watching him playing it and he really get into it cause if he is playing he can't hear a word we are talking. The game is great but I hate the slave princess. I find it inappropriate. I know it was in the movie but honestly i hate that part of the movie! We always fast forward that part and never let the children watch. Grosses me out. It was just added so that men can be tempted to lust. There are still some good men out there that practice custody of the eyes;)

My son loves yhe game. He states it is prefect shape and easy to use. I would buy another item from them if the right item and price comes up.

The lego series games are great for children. They have less violence than most of the more popular games.
