LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Wii, 2007)

This game has to be the best Lego game ever made. It spans all the Star Wars episodes from 1-6. There are also a lot of extras thrown in like Bounty hunting for other Lego people, and just a humongous amount of unlockables. There's a small lego city where you can completely destoy it. The story mode's replay value is also large. It is very intesting and fun because of the way they format the characters and special abilities. Some of the puzzles are very challenging, but not too hard and provide some very engaging gameplay. After the first time playing through a level you can go play through it again to try to find all of the minikits to build all the vehicle models, there are also many other extras that can be found within the levels. The only thing that I did not like about it is the motion control. All you do is swing the Wiimote around to attack, no special moves by swinging it a certian way. This game is a must get for anyone who owns a Wii and is a fan of Legos or Star Wars!

Terrific game. Money well spent. Not only do my two children love but so do me and my husband. Family entertaining. Easy to play but can also be challenging if so desired with bonus levels. Cool graphics. One of the best lego games we have played. Combines previous Star Wars lego games into one with added features.

It is a great game. Follows the Star Wars story line. Many levels with unique puzzles. Even when you beat every level there are more bonus levels that leads to endless fun. There are three types of levels:"on the ground" levels, "airship" levels , and "spaceship" levels. Most of the game is the "on the grounds" levels like the beginning level Negotiations and boss levels like Darth Maul. Then there are "airship" levels like Gunship Calvary and Mos Espa Pod Race. These levels you are in a airship and you have to either race something or reach a certain point. Levels like Into the Death Star you must reach the vent and launch a torpedo at it to end the level. The final type of levels are "spaceship" levels but there is only a couple in the game, one being Battle Over Coruscant. In this level you are in a spaceship in space. It is similar to "airship" levels but the controls are different. The games automatically guides your ship through a mess of spaceships and you have different targets to shoot at. There are various Extras that you can unlock during the game, so are for fun and others make the game easier. A fun one is Disguise which puts fake glasses and mustache on your character. One that makes the games easier is invincibility. After all you beat all of the story levels and you buy all the Bounty Hunters you unlock the Bounty Hunters levels. Here you find various characters and you play as a team of Bounty Hunters. Also after you beat a level in story mode you unlock Free Play and Challenge Mode. In Free Play you play the level with any character. The game then automatically picks other characters you can switch if you need them so solve a puzzle. In Challenge Mode you have to race the clock to find all the minikits parts scattered throughout the level. When you beat a level for the first time in story mode, collect "True Jedi", a goal set for studs/money, or collect all the minikit pieces you get a gold brick. There are 160 Gold Bricks in the game. There are 6 levels you can unlock by collecting Gold Bricks. After you beat the 6 Chapters/Levels in each Episode you unlock even more levels. This game has so many levels and it has many things to do in order to get 100% complete done.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the Wii is an interesting game. This one or two player game takes you through the entire Star Wars saga (except for the new clone wars cartoons) in lego format.

The game is fun and quirky all at the same time. But it does get a little boring and there is some revisionist telling of the Star Wars Movies (See Maul lightsaber battle).

The game is good but collecting all the little LEGO blips is tiresome if you want the "True Jedi" status.

Also, I missed some of the LEGO humor that is present in some of the other LEGO games. It is there but not as funny, more subtle.

Overall it was good, but could have been better.

We already had Lego Batman and really enjoyed it, so we decided to get the Lego Star Wars. Fun game. Would recommend it to anyone thinking about getting it.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Wii) is a must have for the young and old a like star wars fan! Not only does it highlight all the major aspects of all 6 episodes but it follows pretty closely the story lines of the star wars movies.

My thinking was that the lego version might be to kiddy for me (being a huge starwars fan in my mid thirties), but what I found was extremely the opisite of this. I found not only the lego star wars to be fairly realistic, but also by far one of the most enjoyable star wars games I have ever played. Plus it has the added extra bonus of being so extremely family frendly that I used the excuse that my son would love this! My son, being almost 3 doesn't quite get the controls yet, but he loves to fly the ships while I shoot for him. It is also not a game that you will put donwn anytime soon!

It has you running around from mission to mission looking for items collecting lego chips in order to unlock other caracters, items and levels. And you won't be able to unlock everything buy completing the level just once. You will find your self comeing back to levels over and over to unlock everything just to get that one caracter that you want to play with. I love playing with anakins ghost! But it took an unbelievable amount of chips to get him!

Not only does it have all the adventures of the original trilogy and the prequil trilogy and all the characters to play with and ships you can fly, but it has tons of additional side games that you can play, like the bounty hunter additional missions and the lego city total destruction missions. You will not run out of fun for a very long time!

If you are a star wars fan, Don't hesitate to get this just because it looks kiddy! Especially if you are a star wars fan who has kids! Try it, you might find yourself looking to buy other lego series games like Lego Indiana Jones: the complete saga! I know I am! At around $21 -$25 on e-bay you can get this game for a steal. Get it today!! I am glad I did! Haven't stoped playing it since.

Appropriate for all ages and loads of fun for the family. Easy to learn controls and new twists from the original game (on earlier consoles) like new ships and machines to control. There are some new levels and scenes, but most are similar to the original, which, if you've played both original games, may seem a bit redundant. But it is just a lot of fun.

My son absolutely loves it! He played it at a friends and had to have it. He is only 6 and really understands what he has to do to get to the different levels. Would recommend it!

Although this may seem like cheap rehash of the movies with a toy-like gimmick, it will surprise. I did primarily buy it for my 5-year-old son, I love playing it also. Previously I played Lego Star Wars on an XBOX 360, but the Wii interface takes it to a new level of gameplay. You can use the controller similar to a light saber (using a little imagination), or play it like any other game sitting in a comfy chair. Granted the game follows the stories, the Lego idea adds so much to an otherwise simple game. I can't wait to see the Indiana Jones version--and neither can my son!!

You can't go wrong with Lego Star Wars. It is fun for all ages and one of the most in depth games available for the Wii today. I would recomend it to anyone with a system that it is made for especially the Wii.

Our family has this game in both WII and XBOX 360. We all agree that the XBOX360 graphics are SO MUCH BETTER, especially on THIS GAME. Other than the graphics, there is nothing different between both games. Buying this game for the WII was a waste of my money when I already have the Xbox version. The only good thing I can say I liked differently, is IF YOU HAVE purchased the SWORD assorery, you can play it with this game, only with the WII version.

Lego Star Wars is a fun and entertaining game. It doesn't take much to get sucked into it, and realize hours have passed. The controls are great, and a lot of fun to use. It's a nice change from using a gamepad, or keyboard and mouse. It's humorful and great for kids of all ages. The camera work in 2-Player can become awkward at times, but it's understandable with 2 different avatars vying for precious space on your screen. Even though this is a cartoony Lego Universe, the graphics will astound. Some of the backgrounds are beautiful, and well detailed. It is a game my family and I haven't put down since we got it. And having played most of the Star Wars games put out since the Atari 2600, It's in my top 5 favorite.

It's a great family game. I got it because my family loves Star Wars. I like the fact that it isn't violent- When a character dies it explodes ( hey they are legos ) then they just rearrange themselves and start up again. It's complex enough to give the average gamer a challenge yet not to0 complicated that non-gamers can still enjoy. If you like video games and like Star Wars this game is for you.

I live this game. It is involves all of the "Star Wars series 1-7". A few levels will kinda piss you of if your' trying to get the perfect score. but "you" have many family filled hours to play. "HINT HINT" include the kids you trekies....lol I have played it for the xbox and loved it from the start. I hope you will too.

My son and I love to play this game. It follows the movies realistically and is very funny in the way things happen. Characters are realistic and overlal the game is great

This game gives my kids age 3 and 6 the feel that they are jedi masters with the use of the controller to swing the light saber. They are always wanting to play this game, just make sure your kids have enough room to move and swing if you have 2 or more kids playing as they tend to swing wildly!

Includes all 6 movies, intricate gameplay & great jokes. My 4 year old is addicted and it's a great intro to Star Wars for him.

I love the graphics, the sound effects, the many different levels and scenes for the games. It could be more intuitive for adults. My kids figured it out with ease. I did buy it for them after all.... I would suggest this game to a friend.

my 10 year old son thinks this is a very cool game that was easy to pick up and play. He said the graphics were great, and the clues in the game were very helpful. I got him this game because he enjoyed a Star Wars game for our PS2. I recommend this game to anyone's family collection.
