LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (Wii, 2008)

This was my first LEGO game and it was a ton of fun! Since I grew up with the original Indiana Jones, it was cool to see how the game would follow the classic scenes from the movies! The lego people are a ton of fun and it's neat to see how they work and build little lego items.

The two player part is excellent! The game forces you to work together. Not only do you have to stay close so the screen moves with you together, but there are certain things that each character can do that the other person can't. Indy has to use his whip to swing across some chasms, and when he is over there, he has to build a bridge (with Lego's, of course) so his partner an get across. And his partner can jump higher than Indy and get to places and then let down a ladder so he can climb up!

This one is also fun for girls! You really have to figure out a bunch of puzzles and girls really like figuring them out. There are steps that you have to follow in certain order, and if you don't do it, then it won't work. And guys love this game because you can really fight with the people that are attacking you while the girls are figuring out how to move forward.

Overall, it is a ton of fun!

If you love the movie not you can live the best parts of the movie in this game. It is funny and you have legos. Not that challenging and if you played lego star wars and love it. Then you will love this too. It just fun.

I bought this game because I loved the Lego Star Wars games and so far it hasn't disappointed. I also like that the boards aren't too long between save points which keeps you into the game and doesn't make you frustrated because they're too long or too difficult. One of my favorite things about these games is the unlimited lives you get. Nothing more frustrating than getting to the end of a level after 30-45 minutes on other games with your last guy and dying and having to start all over. I lose track of time playing this game. So big thumbs up!

Other than the game that came with my Wii, this is the first game I bought. I absolutely loved it. I am going to buy all the Lego Wii games after this one. My wife would even play with me on the two player edition! I highly recommend this game!

At first the quest seems a little boring but as new adventures get unlocked it becomes much more fun. My twin 8 year olds can play it for hours without getting bored.

I don't play these kinds of games, but I can tell you my 8 year old son can't put it down. He is a big fan of the Lego Star Wars and now is busy with this Indiana game.

Great Wii game, you use both remote and nunchuck for this, teaches kids good coordination.

The second installation in the Lego series has much in common with the original (Star Wars): good, clean family fun; lots of 'replayability'; plenty of characters to unlock and items to collect; and Han Solo.

Han Solo?!

Yes, Han is an unlockable character in the Lego Indiana Jones Trilogy, but he's not the only one. Unfortunately, the unlockable characters have very little use in this game, unlike the Ghost of Obi-Wan, et al., in the previous installment. In fact, the secrets and cheats in this game are nearly useless, even if they do add a little more flavor to the game.

Like Lego Star Wars, the Indy game has plenty of puzzles to keep you guessing, lots to explore, and various character types to choose from. Also like Star Wars, Indy is buggy. Count on resetting more than once or twice because necessary items disappear, seagulls don't fly right, and any host of problems. The good thing is, you don't normally mind playing a level over (in fact, these games are designed so that you play each level at least twice).

Minor problems aside, this game has that elusive fun factor that many better-designed games sorely lack. Once you get used to the somewhat wonky control scheme (which way do I jump, so I don't fall into the pit for the fiftieth time?!), gamers of any skill level can beat the game and have a whole lot of fun doing it. These Lego games are a great way to bond with the kids or spouse - you'll find yourselves talking about it and thinking about playing again throughout the day.

Five stars out of five, with the aforementioned caveats (bugs, controls, nearly pointless secret characters and levels).

I purchased this for my 9 year old son because he is a Indiana newbie fan. Both him and I play this game and it is really good. The graphics are clear and the scenes are funny. It's not too difficult and quite easy to move to the next level without being frustrating. I think the perfect age group for this game is 8 - 12 years old.

My sons ages 7 and 9 absolutely LOVE this game. They haven't been this excited over a game in a very long time. Their thumbs are burning lots of calories, LOL. They highly recommend it.

I love the game. I like all the characters and environment. Very fun version of Indy Jones. I decided to buy it because I loved the Lego Star Wars games.

My boys have the LEGO Star Wars game and really enjoy playing it but they've basically come to the end so they were looking for more. They think this game is fabulous and actually like it even better than Star Wars. They really like the music, scenes, and characters. My husband has played with them a few times already and he likes it better also. There are many situations that they think are very funny and I hear them laughing from the other room.

My kids love it ! They say it's better than the Nintendo DS version, because you can play two players at the same time.

I bought it because my grandchildren requested it, and they have enjoyed it thoroughly. It does bother my that all the characters are always shooting at someone, but my generation grew up playing cowboys and Indians and became normal human beings. So I suppose the end result comes from training at home.

My son has lego star wars for wii, and loves this game just as much. Very fun for all and easy for my 6 year old to play.

My boys love this gave. It isn't as good as Lego Star Wars, but it is still great for hours of fun!

This was a mother's day gift for my mother-in-laws who is 65.
She now has all the lego games,and loves them.

My son loves legos & he loves his Wii system. That's why I bought this game. He really loves this game! It's really cute & funny too. If your child likes to play with legos and the Wii system then he'll love this game too! It has a real cute storie behind it.

These type of games are fun for the whole family. It has adult humor and lots of puzzle solving to get your mind going. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed LEGO games before.

Great game for kids - not violent, requires thinking and problem solving. Controls can be a little tricky for younger kids.

My boys love this game, especially the way the 2nd player can come in and go back out at any time. It's better then regular 2 player games where if you start 2 player and 1 kid doesn't want to play anymore, the other boy can continue instead of starting a new game all over again.

It's great for me too, it's based directly on the movies.
