LEGO Batman: The Videogame (Xbox 360, 2008)

This is a great game. It will not disappoint your family. My wife, son, and I all play it and you will not regret this or any of the other lego games that have come out in the past. we have the star wars complete saga, indiana jones, and finally this one. you will love it.

If you liked Stars Wars Legos and Indiana Jones Lego, you'll love the batman version. This one is more like the Star Wars version. There are a few tricky situations that make game play much more interesting. Indiana Jones was way too easy. The characters all have their own special abilities and special suits to allow them to do certain tasks. The graphics are excellent and the game play is great for 2 people or 1, but its much more fun with 2. My 5 year old can play it and so can i. So its for any age. Certainly geared to the 8-13 year old range but still any age can enjoy this well made game... You play as the good guys and the bad guys in this one.. Something else that makes it much more interesting...

My son loves building legos and he loves Batman, so this game is right up his alley. He's 10 years old and loves it! I have to put time restrictions on playing otherwise he'd play all weekend. haha
I recommend this game to anyone, he just loves it.....

it is great for my 7 years old son. He loves legos and games. Its a perfect combination There should be alot more of these types i'll buy them all even i am addicted to them. So it is great to play with my kids.

This game and series has become the #1 favorite of mine and my wife's. The 2 player action without the need for a split screen is great. The continuous play without character "lives" is great as well. It takes the frustration out of the equation when your co-op partner repeatedly takes your character out and there aren't any real consequences or negative result. Very easy to learn and play with plenty of extras outside of the main story. A+ all around.

Again Lego scores with a send up of the Batman movies with this game. The premise of the game is that Arkham Asylum has a massive break-out, and its up to the Caped Crusader and Robin the Boy Wonder to round everyone back up and get them back behind bars. This game lets you know its fun from the outset and sets forth to encourage the player to look around and not just to go and zip thru it and try to find the villains and get them locked back up. You can find all kinds of treasures once again, and switch costumes as you pursue the likes of The Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Clayface, The Mad Hatter, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze..just to name a few. If you are a parent like I am, you will give very high marks to this game for the fun factor and the comedic value of the little gags that are sprinkled thru out the game. Lego knows that its primary audience and toy sales are for the 5-15 year olds and they make very sure that they play to that audience in these series of games (Indiana Jones, Star Wars: The Complete Series). I find nothing bad about this game at all and recommend it highly to everyone. You will find it fun, exciting, and very much entertaining whether you're playing it or watching it be played.

Awesome game for kids and the best LEGO game in my opinion. You get to play as the good guys and the bad guys. There's lot's of levels to play and items to unlock.

Kids love the game, along with the other Lego series. Although the all seem to be thesame game, just a diffierent cast and crew.

Like many Xbox Live Points hunters probably have before me, I mostly purchased this game for the achievement opportunities - an "easy" 1000 for a reasonable amount of time invested gameplay wise (which, from what I understand, averages to be between 10~15 hours max.) The fact that I have some interest in comic books and other media based on comic book characters was what finally convinced me to give a Lego game a chance.

Fortunately, this game was truly a pleasant surprised. Going in with a pessimistic view and not having slept in nearly twenty-one hours, I expected to quickly and literally grow tired of this game. Spending what felt like an hour entering cheat codes didn't help either (though it was nice adjusting up/down from the previous code instead of AAAAAA each time.)
Once the game actually started and I was used to the controller while learning how to play the game as I playted, instantly it hooked me. I had to play to the very end of the first chapter before I could force myself to stop.

Thus far it's been hours of non-stop entertainment. The hero level gets a bit dull with just Batman & Robin but the Free Play helps keeps it fresh if one needs a break. Also the ability to switch between Hero and Villain stories is a refreshing change of pace.

Overall, thus far I would say this is one of the best (if not THE best) Lego games presently out. Definitely worth giving it a try even if one does have some doubts and even if this is the only Lego game one ever plays. Totally worth it.

It's a fun game, and has lots of puzzle.

but based around unique batman storylines.
