Top Reviews Review created: 01/07/07 by: 7 of 8 people found this review helpful. the Slider Sonic has tons of useful things that any phone lover would want. Of course everyone loves to do the Pros and Cons, so thats what I'll do. Pros: -Mp3 is excellent and plays your music as clear as your mp3 songs are. (remember, the bigger the TRANSFLASH memory card, the more songs you can hold. -camera is sharp and helpful (although there isnt any zoom) -downloadable games are the best! i have SUPER pacman and a Family Guy game and their awesome. -the screen is quite big ( and useful for web browsing and VXL) -controls are easy to handle and in reachable places. - i dont have any problems with the phone EVER sliding up and "accidentailly" calling someone (NOT LIKE THE VERIZON CHOCOLATE PHONE) so there arent any worries about that (i recommend getting a belt clip for the phone) Cons: -the SIDE camera button seems flimsy and hard to push so i just hit the menu button to go to the camera. - the battery may get a little warm (without a belt clip and its in your pocket for a while) Right now I've had this phone for about 3 weeks and I havent had any problems with the "freezing" or poor battery life *unless its out of service range and that takes up some battery life over a few hours* If your a heavy music lover and want a compact PREPAID cell phone with all the perks, then I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recomment the Slider Sonic (although it seems to be discontinued everywhere for some odd reason since this is VM's BEST PHONE TO DATE* you can usually find em on ebay for now or another random site. Report this review Review created: 03/15/07 by: My husband bought me this phone for Christmas 2006. It was easy to use and the features were nice to have. The memory card doesn't hold much so you should invest in a seperate one. I didn't take many photos but it came in handy when I wanted to. I didn't use it to play music at all as I have an IPOD. There are several ringtones to choose from on the phone and also to buy. The Virgin Mobile Pay-As-You-Go plan is perfect for me as I don't use my phone much. Paying a minimum of $80 per year to have cell service is amazing! Very rarely do I have to pay more than that and I've been with Virgin Mobile for 3/2 years or so.
