Kyocera Slider Remix KX5 (Unlocked)

There's nothing not to like about this phone. It's got everything you need. Excellent voice quality. Sprint phone service. EV-DO high speed web surfing. Nifty camera. Mini SD card. MP3 music. Small. Easy menus. Color high resolution screen. I love it. It is the Rolls-Royce of PAYG phones. Get accessories direct from the Kyocera website. Virgin Mobile has disallowed the use of software that would let you sync your numbers/addresses with your PC. A shame. Kyocera has the software but can't sell it because of that prohibition by Virgin. That's the only downer on this winner of a cell phone. Radio shack has had them for $200. E-Bay has them for less. Worth it. Check Sprint's coverage areas to determine if you will get EV-DO service that is at the heart of this phone's remarkable features. Many rural areas will not have EV-DO.

Kyocera Slider Remix KX5 I love this phone it has a 1.3 megapixel camera that you can transfer pictures on to a computer or print out simply by a usb cable or by moving picture to card and taking the card out to put in pinter or comuter slot its nice!!! It also has a flash on the camera so its ok in low light but the flash doesnt do too much really but it helps a little. You can record up to about 15 seconds in video. The mp3 is great it holds up to 512mb micro sd memory I love the mp3 feature the most I use the mp3 all the time it can play music on speaker phone thru the earphones or thru the normal speaker to your ear. The voice dial is great you can either say a contact or speak digits and you can hold so many voice dials. The screen is big for a phone for sure. The phone overall is pretty humungous. It has bluetooth but I really dont know what that does but its probably nice to have. I have freekin sweet signal!! For where I live I get so many dropped calls and I have the best service for where I live though on my last bill I had exactly 495 dropped calls and well that was with my other phone well now i have only had around about only 50 Dropped calls and I used more minutes. The ONE thing I DONT like is that my phone vibrated off the nightstand once and it was ONLY like a two foot spill and it cracked the screen pretty good and Thats not good enough to ruin the other great features of this phone well I am going to get it fixed though if anyone will actually touch the phone. HEY!!: I just am adding this... I have basically only had this phone fer around 2 1/2 months and the down right back and send button have stopped working it was NOT caused by the drop, and theres more! the earpeice has stopped working also!!! I brought it to the shop to see whats wrong with it and they said it had water damage but i've never gotten it wet. It even hard to find someone to look at it because i guess it's hard to take apart.10/2/06

I love this phone!! It's my first phone outside of a Nokia ( but Nokia is still my first love) and I must say that I was quite surprised with it. Only problem is I feel cheated that it didn't come with the software to put music on it. I had to buy that separetly! Overall, it's a great phone and Cricket is a great company! A low $45.00 per month for unlimited everything!! Can't beat that. I left Cingular because I was looking for something cheaper and I found it!

I have one and love the phone just cracked the front of it so I had to replace the outside. Worked like a charm.

The phone was excatly what I expected but they did tell me that it was used. So it was a buyer be ware situation. Other than that is was an over all good experience. And an ok phone!

I bought this phone for my son whom washed his other one. It works well and it a great source of communication for us when we need to reach him. He is happy with the way it works and we were happy to find a phone that worked so well.

I am glad that I purchased a warranty for this phone. Although, it had very little surface damage for a refurb. I was disappointed when I found out that it will not allow me to download song from my computer with a USB cable. The phone thinks the cable is a charger and my computer doesn't recognize the pghne as a "removable disk." I will probably have to get songs via Bluetooth....I hope that works.

I was very disappointed in this purchase. The screen contained scratches and the "send" button on the phone did not function properly after only three weeks of use.

When I first seen the Kyocera Remix, I knew I had to have it. The look is fun but smart and sleek. After I did the research on this phone, I ran into someone with a Remix. She had good things to say and loved her phone too! Once I heard that....I was ready to purchase it.

One of the main reasons I bought this phone was for the MP3 player. It works great! I haven't had any problems with it so far. As for the other features, they work well also. I seem to get a stronger signal in my home with this phone, rather than the one I had before the Slider Remix.

I bought this phone because the look was so different than the others and it seemed to have all the features that were new and inovative. Now, everyone wants to know where I got mine because they want one too! Nooooooo.....I wanted to be the only one with the super cool phone.

I got this phone when it was first released on the Alltel network and at the time( around april of 2006) it was the best phone they had! I loved everything about it. the picture quality is excellent, easily upgradeable memory, and the fact that you can make your own personal ringtones.
The only thing i didnt like was that you could not use your own ringtone as a default ringtone...you have to buy one from alltel but other than that i would have kept the phone...except now i have the PPC 6700

Outstanding features that beat's all of Alltel's other phones including the Razr I currently had.

I bought the kyocera slider remix because I needed a new phone for my company and didn't have the funds to get a brand new phone from the store because my contract was not up yet. My old phone had broken and I wanted another phone to use in the meantime. I considered that particular phone because I owned one in the past and liked it alot. Even though the phone was used, it was still in good condition and fully usable, and it was at a very reasonable price. The thing I like most about the phone is that it is unique and you can use the phone while it is closed or slid open. I really don't have any complaints about it other than the fact that the buttons are kind of hard to use when I am texting. That is about it though.

I purchased a used KX5 Slider and learned 1 month later when it stopped working correctly that it had water damamge. Just buy NEW

it is a great phone at a great price!it was just what i was looking for. the phone works well and was in great condition.and my daughter enjoys it very much.

I love the fact that a mildly pricey phone was so inexpensive to get ahold of. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, detailed description was not off at all. I recommend this seller to anyone in the market for a phone!

good phone ..has a good signal,nice flip open keypad..but hard to push the keys on the face of the phone..too tiny

Some may say they have problems with this phone ,but if you have the software then this may be the greatest phone made. The only fault i find with this phone is there is no FM radio and its not stero bluetooth. Pictue quality is very good, the video recording could be longer. If you are able to use this phone on your network GO FOR IT!!!!!!!

The speaker only went out once, but came back later. i hope it won't do it again. The phone is a little scurf but it still looks and works good. I am very please with this phone.

the bluetooth advertised in ad was only to headset not to bluetooth music files. also in less that 14 days the buttons on the slider part of the phone stoppe working. but company replaced phone for new one.

This phone is exactly what it was described as. I love the features on this phone. The buttons are big enough to be able to use easily. The sound quality is great also.

I liked the phone at first but after i had it for a couple of months the speaker went out on it and i bearily use the phone so i am very mad that i payed $70 for it and i dont like it. I wish that i could take it back and get my money back but i cant i only had 7 days to return it so now i have to pay for it and it dont work so ya will you sent an email to the person that i bought it form and say that i am very mad about and tell him to email me.
