Pros: I absolutely l-o-v-e this phone!!! It's light weight, not too small, too wide, or too bulky. Easy to use and g-r-e-a-t reception!!! I have bought many phones including the Nokia 6255 and the Motorola Razr. I did not like those at all! Before I bought this Kyocera - I was using the Kyocera SoHo which is a great phone also - but I wanted one with a camera. I simply can not tell you just how much I love the Kyocera KX16 Candid!! If you do not care about the Bluetooth feature that some phones have - you need to try out this phone. IT'S GREAT!!!

I have this phone and I Love it. Camera quality is decent. You have the choice to zoom, crop, pan, and change the saturation [and hue, etc]. You can send your pics to your email address online and they come in decent. Speakerphone works great and is loud and clear. Comes with many additions like alarm clock, world clock, tip calculator, calculator, voice memo, flashlight...etc. It's like the best cell phone I have ever had!

About what I expected. Phone is not a new phone, but I didn't expect it to be. I just needed a phone that would last until I renew my plan in a few months. However, the discription for the phone said it came with a new battery and the battery seems to die pretty quick for being new. Overall though, I am very satisfied with this product.

This phone worked well for the first few months that I had it. Unfortunately, it stopped holding a charge and even when I keep it on the charger all night it still has an almost dead battery in the morning. My cousin and an uncle both have the same exact phone and theirs also won't hold a charge, so I'm guessing that it's a common problem for this style of phone.

I liked how the seller described the phone. The starting bid and shipping was good.I got the phone for my grandson who is 14. he loves the phone the only thing he can't do with it is send picture's other then that for him it is great for the price.I would buy off that seller again.Very fast shipping also.

i love the kyocera candid kx16 phone itself. thats why i decided to buy one for my son also. the phone was very reasonabily priced. it said in the ad that it did have a hairline crack in the front screen. in which i thought that was fine.
i went to have it added to my cellular acct. and it would not stay on, so that the associate at the cellular store could add it to my lines. this is the 4th phone that i have purchased from ebay and "the only one" that didn't work correctly.

ok i broke my black berry pearl and i needed a cheap phone quickly so that is basically why i decided to get this phone. when i recieved the FIRST one it would only stay on if i didnt use it, but once i txtd or made a call or recieved one it would turn off, there were a couple of other problems but they were minor. when i contacted the seller they responded QUICKLY which was surprising but great. they left me simple easy directions on returning it and i got the replacement phone quickly and am satisfied now. all in all its and ok cell phone.

I purchased the Kyocera KX16 phone because of its simplicity and loads of great features. The phone has a great external speaker function that I use all the times when I am programming sound equipment at work and need both hands while communicating. If you want a tough phone and don't want to spend a lot of cash, this is the phone for you....

The phone was just as described, requested ESN# from seller and as stated in the listing the information was provided without delay. I was looking for a Cricket phone that has not been flashed in order to utilize the camera and SMS (short messaging service)features available from this provider, I was looking in order to get a gift for a friend who did not have to money to purchase a new phone. In my search of Ebay I was only able to find two listed, this being one of the listings. Shipping was fast I received the phone sooner than I expected. This seller is an asset to Ebay.

was looking for kyocera kx 16, wow found one. sounded like it worked bid won bid $0.50 got pos feedback before i recived? got phone powered up seemed good.then i waited a few weeks as my neece was to be hear soon??? so i had left pos feedback? my falt!! then took my nece to revol and it couldent find a signal,bought a used phone $60.00. sent replys to seller? no reply.add should have read junk phone.for parts.. no service.will not work..if you need a phone that works dont waste your time on this? ,conman, do not leave feedback till you know it works.sold me his junk and got pos feedback for his next succker

My hearing is terrible in the high ranges. I can't hear on a lot of phones, everything sounds murky. (TV and movies always sound that way to me as well.) Needless to say, in a cell phone, it's important to be able to understand conversation. This one works really well with my particular high-end hearing problems.
The phone is quite basic, and functions well. Signal strength is good, battery life is so so, no worse than I expect from a small phone. Be prepared to charge it often.
I wouldn't give a camera as bad as the one in this phone to a person I hated.
But I don't care about cameras in phones. If you must have one, don't buy this phone. If you don't care about the camera, and TV sounds fuzzy to you, this is probably a good phone for you.

) Here is a legitimate way to get out of signing a cellular phone contract. This seller has an abundance of cell phones, all checked out, used and guaranteed to work upon arrival. I had a problem with the charger and the seller IMMEDIATELY offered to put a new charger in the mail. We fixed the contacts and it turned out we did not need a new charger after all. However, with his personal attention and professionalism, I was so assured I returned to his list and purchased another phone for my son. I can not recomment the seller or his products highly enough....

AND - my friends, NO CONTRACT - which makes my provider try a little harder to assuage any complaints I might raise...as they fully realize they can be fired for any indescretion...
