Movie Description
A progressive and parodic anime series, KYO KARA MAOH! is a comedic fantasy with openly gay characters that appeals to both men and women with action and romance elements. After the tables are turned on him for helping out a classmate against a group of bullies, Yuri Shibuya is transported to a fantastic world teetering on the edge of a destructive war. Because of his appearance, Yuri is made king of the Mazoku, but his pacifistic nature runs counter to the Mazoku's aggression, and places them in jeopardy for the possible upcoming war. VOLUME TWO: MAGICAL FRIENDS features five episodes of the series, where Yuri and his allies seek out two magical artifacts, the Demon Sword Morgif and the Stone of the Dragon King. KYO KARA MAOH! was directed by Junji Nishimura (RANMA 1/2).
