when i purchased this i was thinking it was going to be different than it was. but it was better than anticipated. just hearing kurts voice while he is being interviewed brings me back to when he was alive and i was following the band very closely. it also reminds me of how much music lost when he died. without him and nirvana music may not be where it is now

Kurt Cobain, about a son, is a DVD that should be an ideal item in the home of ANY Kurt Cobain fan. Everything about it gives justice... all the way down to the amazing soundtrack that was obviously put together with a lot of thought, time, and care. After viewing this once, I knew that it was something I needed to own to watch over.... and over..... and over.... :)

Very interesting stuff in this dvd...i recomend it to ANYONE who is a true Cobain fan...If you are looking for pictures abd videos of Nirvana then this dvd is not for you.

Somewhat abstract in nature dedicated fans will find helpful insights into the complex nature this man. Cobain displayed many competing elements in his life and music, loud - quiet, hard - gentle, happy - sad, etc, etc, this film does help gain some understanding. Hearing him speak openly and honestly about this and that is somewhat painful for those of us who were deeply moved by his life. As is true of the music in this documentary he is alive again, real and present for the short length of this production. Some of the scenes and music included enhance the voice over quite well while others less so. By the end of the film true fans will again experience the loss first felt in April 1994, left asking the unanswered question why. God Bless you and keep you Kurt

This is not an actual movie. It is an interview that Kurt did a year before he died. There are video clips and pictures that are relevant to the interview. Shows Kurt's old houses, places he used to go and such. It is actually very interesting.

If you would enjoy sitting down and having a conversations with Kurt you will love this movie. If that is something that you would not like, this movies is not for you. He talks about life, nirvana, music, Love, his childhood, coworkers, family, and everything you can think of. Its a movie that I have watched many times and I seam to find something new every time.
