Kung Fu Panda (DVD, 2008, Full Frame)

My children and I laughed throughout this whole movie. I know they saw a good movie when there is still popcorn left in the bag. It kept them so distracted I got to eat all the buttery topping off the popcorn and left them with the stuff on the bottom.

It was one of the funniest Disney movies I have seen in a while.

PO the Panda wants to see who the Dragon Warrior will be. Po is unexpectedly picked even though he was just a noodle maker. He has no experience in Kung Foo fighting and he has to learn it to fight a vicious Tai Lung before its to late.

Great funny movie for all ages.

This is a fantastic story of overcoming great obstacles that anyone can learn a lesson from. Po, an overweight Panda, works every day in his family's noodle shop. His Father, Mr. Ping (voice of James Hong) eventually wants Po to take over the noodle shop, but Po has larger dreams. Little does he know that somehow fate will somehow befall him.

Po is soon chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy. Po joins the world of Kung Fu and begins to train with the Legendary - Furious Five - Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper, and Monkey. Shifu is the Kung Fu Master and wise trainer. Many events try and keep Po from becoming a true Dragon Warrior.

The tortoise Master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim) has a premonition that the evil snow leopard warrior Tai Lung (Ian McShane), the former student of his own protégé, the red panda Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman), will escape from prison and return to threaten the Valley of Peace.

The Five battle Tai Lung but are eventually defeated. All except Crane are paralyzed by a special nerve-striking technique, and he manages to carry his friends back to the valley. When they return, Shifu decides Po is ready to open the sacred Dragon Scroll, which promises great power to its possessor. However, when Po opens it, he finds nothing but a blank reflective surface. Stricken with despair at the scroll's apparent worthlessness, Shifu orders his students to lead the villagers to safety while he stays to delay Tai Lung for as long as he can.

Po meets up with his father, who tells him the secret ingredient of the family's noodle soup: NOTHING! Things become special, because people believe them to be special.

This is a great movie for your kids, this movie will teach the about the response abilities of life and what it takes to become a great warrior, and how to defeat the evil that is in the world today. Great movie three thumbs up.

Great movie, action, comedy, martial arts, all put together in a cartoon movie for kids and no so kids. You have to watch it

the movie was really cute. we bought it for our granddaughter for christmas. she loved the movie. i would recommend it to anyone.

It's a great movie and the kids love it. I wanted to give my daughters the opertunity to watch this movie over and over. They really love it. My three year old wants everything that has a panda bear on it now.

it's a nice movie. good story line...learn something about life...my kids really love this movie, we just got it for few days but they watch it 3 times a day...my son already know what's coming up next and he is only 5.

Great for everyone. The movie is hilarious for both kids and adults and really has a moral parents would want their kids to learn. Its a clever movie and Jack Black is simply great.

Love it! The story was great and the background was beautiful, it really felt like an ancient Chinese city. This original story is one of the best since Shrek. And the meaning behind the story may be even better! The story is about Po, an overweight panda who is the son of a noodle maker, who dreams of Po following in his footsteps. But Po longs to be a ninja fighter. Po is as you know is a panda bear and the film's unlikely hero: as the bigger than life and completely lovable bear voiced by the comic genius Jack Black. Po is a Sweet but clumsy, bear who hears the news the ancient and long awaited dragon warrior will be named, so he runs (as much as he can) to hear who will be named at the celebration.

Without giving too much away, when an "accident" seems to name Po as the dragon warrior (much to the horror of Master Shifu (voiced perfectly by Dustin Hoffman) and the disappointment of Furious Five: Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Viper (Lucy Liu), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Crane (David Cross) and Monkey (Jackie Chan). Shifu must find a way to train him. One hilarious moment after another continues until Shifu recognizes Po's true driving force. This is just in time as the villain Tai Lung (Ian McShane), a snow leopard has returned as he believe is the true Dragon Warrior.

I can not recommend this movie enough. Certainly this is marketed for the kids – but the whole family will enjoy it

This was a suggestion for one of my grandchildren's birthday and it came just in time! It looked to be in good condition, but I have not tried watching it yet. Shipping took a little longer than I was expecting, but it worked out fine.

Bright, Educational, and the boys learn while playing the moves. We did not get to see at the movies as it is costly with a big family. So by being able to purchase on ebay for a small fraction of the cost we waited awhile as this movie came from across the country, we were all very impressed with the movie itself . The seller was great ! Communication is very important when you are purchasing from over seas alot of ebays do not give our oversees sellers time as the mail takes time to travel. So when you purchase from overseas you should be willing to wait. Ebay should find a way to make the bidders aware and not let bad feedback be a barrier for someone not willing to wait .

This is a hilarious family movie. My boys run around pretending to be Po, the "big, fat, panda" in this film. It is great for any familt movie night or for a rainy day cuddle on the couch!

Jack Black is super funny. My kids watch it over and over again! I found my self quoting parts of the movie to my kids and they finish the sentence. "I Love Kung Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!
