Kung Fu Hustle (DVD, 2007, Deluxe Edition)

There's a lot happening in this movie, and sometimes I think that it could have benefitted by a solid rewrite, and an edit that firmly places the movie in a catagory. On the other hand, whenever it is on TV I watch until the end-regardless of where I came in or what time it is.
It borrows visual effects from movies like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," is more funny than any Jackie Chan flick, and moves in a way that reminds me of Tarentino's "Kill Bill" films. In short, an entertaining feature.

Kung Fu Hustle is what I like to refer as the perfect "Sunday afternoon movie". It combines all of the best visual elements of "Crouching Tiger" and "House of Flying Daggers" with the humor of the best of Jackie Chan's films. The film is captivating and entertaining, even my teenage daughters loved it. If you are a fan of the recent run of serious martial arts films but you also enjoy a good laugh, this is one film you should own. It never gets old.

THE MOVIE WAS ON SPIKE AND I STARTED TO WATCH FROM THE BEGINNING ,ALMOST CHANGED CHANNELS BUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES I WAS HOOKED. LAUGH CRY THE WHOLE SMEAR . REALLY CREATIVE .. MUST SEE THIS MOVIE

I like Steven Chou whose position is like Jim Carrey in Asia. He works very hard. He always helps people and shows us the positive image to learn. He is real idol in our heart.
