Kung Fu: The Complete Third Season (DVD, 2005)

The third and final season of the great Kung Fu series, in which Kwai Chang finally finds his long lost brother. The quality of the the DVD images is excellent. This set includes episodes that were not distributed earlier on the VHS tapes.

My only minor criticism would be that what should be the final episode of the series comes before several other episodes that are more like flashbacks, which I was not expecting. I would have re-arranged the order of these to make more sense, putting the final episode last.

A bonus on the DVD set is commentary from David Carradine himself, in which he voices over scenes of the final episode and reminisces about the series. He sounds a bit flippant or perhaps mildy intoxicated, but it is nonetheless a plus.

Overall, well worth the cost to any serious fan of Kung Fu.

I love this series, it's not just all beat 'em ups, they actually make you think. There are a lot of important life lessons in these tails, a thing I think a lot of the new shows pass up on for the wow factor today. The third season is a bit more edgy than the previous two though, a lot of hallucination and weird imagry type shows. You can certainly tell the show was getting bigger though with cameos by bigger stars, like William Shatner, Jose Feliciano, and Barbara Hershey just to name a few. If anything the third season leaves you wanting more because of the way it ends, but alas this is what we got, the rest is left to imaginantion.

We (my husband and myself) now owns all the seasons of Kung Fu. My husband can not, at times get enough of this show because of all the great values that are represented in this program. It was a pity that they took it off the air so early and that they do not have more shows like this on television now a days. I would recommend it to one and all.

EXCELLENT DVD SET, NOW WE HAVE THE COMPLETE COLLECTION ! I LOVE THE JOURNYS HE TAKES IN LIFE, THE LESSONS HE LEARNS. A LOT BETTER THAN THE MOVIE OF TODAY! THANK YOU !!!

What can be said about Kung Fu. It is a classic unlike no other. I am glad it finally cam e out on DVD. YOu can watch further adventures on the follow up series that aired on TNT Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. It is out also and there are 4 seasons more to enjoy. A must for all David Caradine fans.

"Just bought the Kung Fu third season DVD, After viewing the first and second season I was hooked, I watched this as a kid but I was to young to really appreciate the philosophy behind the martial arts, This is not just about karate chops!, If we could all live our life like Kwai Chang Caine, We would be in perfect harmony with nature!

Great blast frrom the past! If you are as old as me, or can watch something with less than cutting edge effects and still enjoy it, this may be for you too. Usually several relevant lessons in ethics or intelligent resoning may be gleaned as well!

I always enjoyed kung fu when I was growing up was glad to find it, plan to get the complete set if I can find it.

I have all of the others and enjoy all of them on a regular basis.
I also am a martial artist and stand for many of the same things that
are portrayed in the Kung Fu Series. These wonderful ways of living is
what sustains me on a day to day basis.

I remember it from when i was much younger. It has no profanity, it has action and teaches a lesson.
