Krups XP 1500 Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker

I got this from my wife as a present but I think she is the one who wanted the espresso feature. I prefer coffee. It gets used to make coffee every day but in the last six months, we have only used it to make espresso two times. As far as I am concerned, it is too much work to make espresso and then clean the machine afterward. If you don't get the nozzle completely clean, it will plug up. Putting ground coffee in the other side can be a bit bothersome at times. The basket does not swing out with the greatest of ease. I have even put vegetable oil on the parts that hold it in so that it will not be so difficult to open. Another annoying little thing is that moisture accumulates on the front and if it is not wiped off every time, it leaves a white calcium residue. I've tried to figure out where it is coming from, but no luck. I think I will go back to Mr. Coffee for my next machine. That machine certainly took up a lot less space on the counter.
