I got this from my wife as a present but I think she is the one who wanted the espresso feature. I prefer coffee. It gets used to make coffee every day but in the last six months, we have only used it to make espresso two times. As far as I am concerned, it is too much work to make espresso and then clean the machine afterward. If you don't get the nozzle completely clean, it will plug up. Putting ground coffee in the other side can be a bit bothersome at times. The basket does not swing out with the greatest of ease. I have even put vegetable oil on the parts that hold it in so that it will not be so difficult to open. Another annoying little thing is that moisture accumulates on the front and if it is not wiped off every time, it leaves a white calcium residue. I've tried to figure out where it is coming from, but no luck. I think I will go back to Mr. Coffee for my next machine. That machine certainly took up a lot less space on the counter.

This machine is simple. There are three parts. Coffee, esspresso, and frother. The controls make it easy to interface. I have one and I make endless cappicino's. The frother slides effortlessly off and is cleaned quickly. Not to mention it makes froth as thick as shaving cream. The kind that sticks to your nose. The dimensions are that of a normal coffee maker but with far more features. I really like the style too. It's clean and solid. Nice blue light turns on when you plug it in. This is the best coffee maker with this kind of quality at this price.

This was purchased to replace a cheaper Krups model that broke down after about 6 months of use. But... I've gone through two of these in less than 1 year! The first one quit working almost immediately and was replaced by the Bon where I bought it. The second one developed a crack on the top corner of the case and then the hinge on the filter basket broke. I've had good luck with Krups products in the past, but I'm avoiding them from now on.

I really like how the machine makes the espresso but sometimes I feel that the milk does not get hot enough while frothing. Also the milk does not seem to froth to perfection but the machine still does a great a job. The machine also makes delicious coffee and is easy to clean up

I think this machine makes a great cup of coffee, but it has a couple of quirks:
1) The #4 filters don't quite fit it properly, so water drips down the outside and onto the warming plate, making a sizzling noise.
2) Probably for the same reason, none of the permanent filters seem to fit it properly.
3) The coffee pot lid broke when I tried to remove it for cleaning, but it's OK - it still works OK.
4) It's hard to get the gate open to change the filter - you have to stick a fingernail into the left side of the gate while pulling on the tab.
On the bright side, I haven't had any of the problems that others talked about regarding the espresso maker side - it works easily and quickly and makes a fine cup of espresso. The foaming arm also works fine and cleans easily, once you figure out how to use it.

Great coffee maker for the price!!! It is simple to use and makes coffee fast. It is a bit larger than I would like but the price is a trade off with this maker. It concentrates the coffee well making it possible for a stronger cup of coffee. Also, it steams milk good although this feature does take a little more time than I would like. Although, again, the price is still well worth it. Overall, great machine!!

Love the fact that it is both a coffee maker and an espresso machine. Fits nicely into a small apartment kitchen. Works great. Would buy again. Would make anyone a great gift.

I have used Krups coffee machines for the last 12 years (they have changes much over this time) But the one I had was looking a little ruff.Needed to be replaced so I searched E-bay for the machine I wanted, I accually saw a few and put bids in. This was a good price for a great machine. I LOVE MY COFFEE..The seller even threw in a bonus coffee bean grinder (myne was about 10 years + old) so that was appreciated. It was a quick easy transaction...and it looks great in my kitchen.
I always go to E-bay First when I need somthing (my whole family dose)..

I bought it to replace my previous Krups dual machine. I don't like this one as much as the old one but I opted for the less expensive low tech model. It does the job.
