Warranty
FYI The coffee maker has a year one warranty, all fine and good until you need a repair (just the light went out on the clock and it needs a fuse). You have to mail it out at your expense and be minus a coffee maker until you get it back. Hopefully one of your friends or family has a back up for you to use. But why should you have to pay anything when its still under warranty? I think if your local dept stores are going to carry/sell a product they should also be held accountable to some extent. Maybe if these dept. stores put pressure on the wholesalers/suppliers then the wholesales/suppliers would have to clean up their act about this warranty crap. Well you know that that's not going to happen. My next thought is, go back to the store where you bought it from purchase again the exact item and in a week or so return your broken one.
I am a very honest person but when stuff like this happens, watch out. Otherwise the coffeemaker is great!!
