Krups FMF5 10-Cup Coffee Maker

The maker is easy to use and easy to clean. I expected the coffee to be piping hot, but found the end product to be something less than hot which I think caused the flavor to be lacking. Would I recommend to someone else that they buy the product, probably not.

like everything about it. Purchassed to replace similar unit in service over fifteen years only recently needing repair. Unfortunately parts are no longer available for the older unit so repair not an option. Original unit made in Germany. Wish the new one was made there, also.

Bought it because of the quality and great price. It fits under our cupboards too. we needed a coffee maker that was dependable and Krups is a top brand. It doesn't take long to make a pot of coffee which is also important.

Call me a coffee addict, but, I can not function in the morning, without my pot of coffee. Twenty-plus years of working 2nd Shift...

I have had, over the years, the expensive, and the cheap, and those "in-between" coffee makers! After reading a review in "Cooks Illustrated", I decided to try one more time with the higher end. So far, this refurbished Krups is performing well in the "coffee taste" division. (I do grind my coffee beans. which I highly recommend!) I also love having the carafe -- all coffee makers should be furnished with them. One recommendation -- watch the water filling and do not overfill. It does not actually take ten (10) actual cups of water.

It did take a bit of coaxing to set the time, and especially to get rid of the ANNOYING BEAPING FEATURE when the coffee was done brewing -- my huskies were just going nuts!

In the end, yes I would recommend it. And, I would love if Krups came out with a 12-cup version!

I bought this because I had a Krups thermal for 10 years prior to this one. This nowhere near as good a product. It keeps coffe hot for about half the time of the old one which was 7 hours. Pouring water into the maker from the pot is difficult. The pot has to be turned almost upside down before all the water is emptied into the maker. Much more complicate timer system as well

Had some questions about product. Seller came through!!! Would definately do business with her again.
