Movie Description During the 1960's twin brothers Ronnie and Reggie Kray dominated London's underworld. They emerged from their violent schooldays into leaders of their own criminal mob. Notes Actor siblings Gary and Martin Kemp, both of whom portray the film's title characters, formerly performed together in the 1980's rock group Spandau Ballet.
Peter Medak, director of "The Krays," actually knew the real-life Kray brothers earlier in his filmmaking career. When Medak worked as an assistant director, the unhinged thugs were hired as security guards for on-location shooting during the 1962 production of "Sparrows Can't Sing"!
