Krav Maga
Review created: 01/11/08(updated 01/11/08)
Kahn's Krav Maga is a book that should be read by all martial artists regardless of their personal style. This book breaks down the style of Krav to its basic elements. The descriptions are easily understood and the reference diagrams and photos enhance the instruction, making it easily absorbed by the reader. This book makes an excellent case for Krav being learned as a personal self-defense study. In addition to the practical instruction and applications, the author provides a useful 12 week exercise regimen that can be followed by anyone serious about learning Krav. Though the book is the best I have seen on the subject, it should be used as an adjunct to an actual Krav Maga course taught by a certified instructor. This book should be on the shelf of every martial artist's personal library.
