Kozier & Erb's Fundamentals of Nursing (2007)

Very thick book in small print. Jam packed with lots of information, and if you lack background information in Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology, Pharmacology, Biology, and medical terminology, then you will most likely have difficulty reading this book. The fact that this textbook contains a lot of information and vocabulary you may be unfamiliar with, this textbook can easily be your new best friend or your worst enemy. On the upside, the textbook does come with a CD, lots of diagrams and helpful pictorials, as well as supplemental books such as the study guide and clinical handbook that can reinforce and aid you in your understanding of nursing concepts. Be open-minded, dedicated, patient, and acquire the necessary critical thinking skills, and you should be good to go. This book is very well-written, and organized to a certain degree. Like any book, it will work for some, but maybe no so much for others.
