    This is the best zoom made by minolta. It's focusing is spot on, very fast and accurate. I have made shots of pelicans in flight at 200mm in continuous AF which were razor sharp even without any sharpening applied. While the lens weights more than many others, it is made like no other - all metal body, with large front element and excellent glass. Unlike other lenses, this one is neutral and doesn't add it's own color cast to the pictures. Sharpness is great from edge to edge. And using it with Minolta Maxxum 7D is pure plesure. I've used it for action shots, portraits, nature and all i can say is - it is the best and is my favorite.

    This lens was everything I hoped it would be. I bought a used lens rather than buy a new lens at a much higher price. I have taken magazine quality sports photos that are being published. Lens is in mint condition, and I hope to jkeep like that.
