The is to slow and sluggish - not a choice item for any mount. This lens is not a recommendable buy. 300mm should be at least f5.6 or better. You much better of looking for a Sears lens of JC Penney model. They have been well made and offer macro-focus and a fast f5.6 aperture at 300mm
