Konami Kids Playground: Frogger Hop, Skip & Jumpin' Fun (Game & Controller Mat) (PlayStation 2, 2007)

My boy saw a friends console game at their house and we decided to purchase this game for our PS2. The mat interaction is good, and he picked up on it within minutes. At first he was hesitant to stand completly on the mat (it probably felt strange to his little feet), but after a half hour playing he was more focused on the screen and jumpin his little froggy character around the screen.
The game has almost 30 seperate sub-games, ranging from very simple to complicated for my little one. I think it will keep him entertained for some time to come and would be a great rainy day activity for a couple kids to rotate thru.
My one complaint about the mat connector is that the cord is only about 4 feet long, so if you have a console set up anywhere but above or below your TV you will run out of room to place the mat.
In summary, this is a good product for kids from 2 to about 4, may seem simple for the 5 year olds after a short time.
