Average camera has a lot of cons though.Review created: 10/06/05

Pros: It has a GREAT battery life and very powerful flash. I have lit up an entire bedroom with the flash. When you have your picture on a card you can delete them almost instantly. It has a pretty clear picture quality.
Cons: Flash does not always reach objects if you are in a very big room. The viewfinder is not very accurite in detirmining the borders of your photo. It takes forever to delete a picture if it is on the camera. If you are going to take a picture of an object and you are facing the Sun then the flash is disabled and nomatter how dark your subject is and how hard you try the flash will not work due to scensors in the camera. The menue system is O.K.
Besides all of that I think that if you can get it for a cheap price it can be a good starter camera. I have not used any other cameras that are digital so I can not compare it to any other ones.
