Reviews Review created: 07/27/08(updated 08/09/08) by: 0 of 1 people found this review helpful. I decided to buy this book to possibly inspire me to do some new projects and learn some new tricks with my recently purchased Bernina 930 sewing machine. However, I am currently not a quilter, nor am I interested in embroidery or doll making so this book was not what I thought it was. I thought it would be about important details or sewing tricks not included in my Bernina user's manual. I ended up re-selling the book to someone who may benefit from it more than myself. Some topics include: sewing fringes and tassels sewing over open spaces making appliques many decorative quilting stitch styles & techniques. The author is very creative and very detail oriented in her easy-to-understand descriptions. I found about 5 topics very helpful to me. Nevertheless, it's a good read for those interested in such. Definitely a keeper for any quilter who collects sewing books. ******I write these guides & reviews for YOU, so if this is of any help to you PLEASE VOTE & let me know so I can continue to be of help to you & other users.
