used to watch it when it came out, and loved it then. still pretty fun to watch every once in a while

PLOT: classic thiller~ 4 high school kids end up with a HIT and RUN and then dump the body making a pact of silence~ a year later someone sends them notes "I know what you did last summer"


classic plot with all new faces for 1998~ Ryan Phellippe as the rich boy and Sarah Michelle Geller as the town Princess and Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinz Jr. as the four who accidentally kill someone on graduation day and dump the body OFF the local warf~ the pack of silence is broken when one year later each receives a note saying "I know what you did last summer" adding to the thrills is a hooded figure with a HOOK who stalks and kills them one by one~ Sarah Michelle Geller met her future husband Freddie Prinze Jr. while making this classic tale of scares~ we also have Johnny Galecki (Roseanne) keeps you guessing~
I give it ia solid 7 out of 10 for thrills and classic plot with all new faces~

Good 90's type of movie. In the same range as Scream (with Neeve Campbell). I would recommend it if you have not seen it. Why not see it with the next of kins : I still know what you did last summer and I always know what you did last summer...

This is a pretty good thriller. The acting could have been better. I recommend seeing this movie before buying it.
