Knit Socks! by Betsy McCarthy (2004, Hardcover)

I have purchased quite a few sock pattern books and printed patterns off the internet. The Knit Socks book is one of the best pattern books I have found. There are more patterns that I would knit in this book than in many of the others I have purchased. The directions are very easy follow and explain exactly how to knit the sock. I have made one of the sock patterns in the book and it has turned out very perfectly. The only thing I disliked about the book was some of the patterns used multiple strands of yarn to knit the sock instead of just one strand. I haven't tried this yet, but will attempt this in the future. Overall, I would recommend this book.

I am very satisfied with my purchase of the book "Knit Socks". I had wanted the book for quite a while and looked on several sites, book stores and used book stores. E-bay had it for less than half of what the used book stores were offering it for and it was in new condition. I give this seller and e-bay the highest rating offered.

Knit Socks gives you several ways and patterns to make socks. It is easy to understand for the beginning knitter and complicated enough looking so that the advanced knitter would be happy to show it off. The book has color pictures and is easy to read. I recommend it highly.

I have never knit a sock so I got this book and it has been really great. I have started knitting my first sock and it is really great. Get this as a first time sock maker, it'll help.

this is a great knitting book all kinds of socks in it and it is so much fun i have never seen a book that has such good instructions and illistrations it is wonderful would highly recommend to all sock knitters this is the one you need for all those great and different kinds of socks
