Behold my review of little known RPG Guardian's Crusade

For rpg fans and gamers in general, Guardian's Crusade is, quite simply, an essential. Veteran gamers who's radar it slipped under back in the day and gaming noobs alike should seriously consider checking out this brilliant little hidden gem from the end of the 20th century.
Gaurdian's Crusade is a relatively simplistic yet highly inspired classic Playstation role playing game.
DA GOOD
In a few short words, the makers of this game took the old line 'keep it simple, stupid' to heart. The graphics, story, gameplay... all simple, but all very good.
This game proves you don't need all the rediculously convoluted backstory or pretentiousness that plagues much of the genre. You just need a knight named Knight trying to help a baby pig-rabbit plushie thingy find it's way home.
It's out there. If nothing else, the story concept is unlike anything else the rpg genre has to offer.
Overall, it's a fairly laid-back, refreshing piece of fluff in a deadly serious genre.
DA BAD
Some might consider it too simple.
The graphics may understandably be considered kiddy.
The challenge is not necessarily up to snuff for hardcore gamers.
Besides the quirky cool story, it doesn't bring anything new to the table.
DA BOTTOM LINE
Guardian's Crusade isn't really one for the hardcore gamers beyond the fact that it is just a fun game that is worth playing.
The game is a quirky, unique masterpiece.
And it's worth picking up for the simple fact that it isn't likely going to cost very much.
There is no good reason not to give this game a shot. And who knows, you might actually like it.
