I was first intoduced to Eugene Richards at Charlotteville's first "Festival of the Book." He was my favorite of the three nationaly known photographers. His stark and stunning black and white photos in this 237-page book, along with the narratives by doctors, nurses,and paramedics, captures the essence of the emergency room. This is one of four books featuring his photography that I've purchased from E-bay.
