Hosseini is a master of surprise! Just when you think you have the whole thing figured out, the book takes a turn you never saw coming. The Kite Runner is a heartwarming and heartbreaking novel that will stick with you for years!
Told largely in flashback, this is the tale of an Afghani-American man called back to his homeland to make right a profound wrong committed when he was a naive youth. Hosseini twists and turns his plot through events unimaginable. The main character is a flawed human who would be a villain if he weren't so much like all of us in his remorse and quest to correct his past. This one is truly a gem!
