KitchenAid KSM90 Ultra Power Series 300 Watts Stand Mixer

I love the way the Kitchen Aid mixer mixes and just how it works in general. The bowl does not spin but the beaters go around the bowl..diffent concept. Well, I love to cook and bake in the kitchen and some days when I made certain items...like bread for example, all that kneading was not kind to my hands as I was recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis is my hands. This mixer actually saves me time and pain because it takes less time than I did to mix and it can handle any job. I can let the mixer mix away while I am doing something else in the kitchen. My mixer came with a dough hook, a flat beater, and a wire whisk. The first batch of cinnamon buns doubled in size...literally had two pans instead of the usual one...I think it was because of the nice even kneading the dough hook could give the dough. I love to make things just to watch my Kitchen Aid mixer work.
When I first received this mixer and I picked up the box, I didn't realize how heavy the mixer was. This mixer is not something you want to put away and get out like I did with my previous mixer. This mixer is best left standing in its own place on your counter. Also, when I first received this mixer, I thought wow...not too many bells and whistles on this mixer because it looked so plain. BUT, this mixer has power and the right speeds and the right beaters to do any job you give it to do. I love to make gingerbread cookies, but even though it is an easy recipe, mixing the dough can be a problem for me because it is so thick and heavy...but no problem with this mixer...I just start putting my ingredients in on low and I can even lock the top down so the mixer isn't going to bounce...this feature is especially nice when mixing heavy dough. The bowl has a handle makes it easier for picking up the bowl. I also received a "splash guard" for around the top of the bowl so there is no mess ouside of my bowl and no splatters.
I really didn't like the idea of paying $300 for a new one so I decided to check them out on ebay. There are many listed and I just began watching them. The price was right, had all the key pieces I needed, so I decided to buy it. I was tickled pink when I won this mixer and I just love it!

i wanted a updated mixer and kitchenaid was the one i wanted. it seemed like a reasonable price and i was getting tired of being outbid so i just bought one now.
