Kit Kittredge: An American Girl (DVD, 2008)

I never received the DVD....and I notice several others have been treated the same way! I ordered it for a birthday surprise. There also was no answer to my emails! It looks like this person has been eliminated from eBay & I was not charged but WHAT HAPPENED????

The line is the story of a young girl that has to learn and keep a positive attitude towards life, in the mids of the chaos of a crumbling world around her, the great depression.
The acting is warm and real, the setting is splendid.

Absolutely awesome movie! We learned so much - great insight into the Depression and really makes your children think how great they have it! Cute movie, interlaced with humor - not too heavy - lighthearted yet full of meaning! Loved it, highly recommend!

Wonderful story for both adults and children and I would highly recommend it. Even if you have children that are not into American Girl dolls, this story will touch their heart. This movie helps them to understand the current economic situation that is currently taking place around the world. It also shows them that under difficult times a family can pull together and be strong for one another. Excellent Movie for all ages!

Nothing gets this gal down nothing save her father being gone that is. This girl deals with going from riches to rags and loads of folks living in her home as they try to make ends meat when money gets tight. She deals with every thing else and still befriends a few hobos that prove her trust is not in vain.

As with all American girl movies this is a great show. A real keeper, I will be watching it over and over.

It showed up in good condition. It just took a while to get to me. Around 3 weeks. Good thing it's not going to be used until Christmas.

I think this is the kind of movie any parent would be happy to watch with their daughter. It's a cute movie ( I also enjoyed it) with good morals. Very age appropriate for my 7 yr old

We love this movie and it's much cheaper than in the stores. It arrived quickly and in great condition.

This product is misrepresented in the photo and the seller did not clear up the misrepresentation in the product description. The doll is only about 3 to 4 inches tall. Compared to the photo in which she is standing by the DVD she is about two inches larger than the DVD ... not so. She is about half the size of the DVD. I will not buy from this seller again and recommend others be very careful when doing so.

This was just and excellent price for a DVD, plus the bonus 6" Kit Kittredge doll helped make this a irresistable deal.

I love it included the doll and a little book I know my daughter will love it she loves the american girl series and kit is her favorite they learn so much from these girls its education yet fun.

My granddaughter enjoyed this movie so much. The actress abigail was so good in the movie. My granddaughter wanted to watch it over again right away. She didn't move through the whole movie..

I've heard this one is the worst of the AG movies, but considering it's the only one I've seen I can't speak for myself. However, I thought it was quite charming, as did my 30 year old husband lol.

The granddaughters are into American girl dolls. They found this CD saw it,loved it and took it away with them, guess I will have to get another one for myself.

I ordered the Kit DVD with the mini-doll for my grand-daughter. She loved it! The package arrived in perfect shape and in only a couple of days. Needless to say, I was extremely happy!

this movie is so touching and really hits home with what our world is like today i laughed and cried. it is an amazing movie and everyone in our family could watch it and relate to it

Kit Kittredge, Am American Girl is a wonderful family film that can be enjoyed by everyone. It makes you laugh, cry, and laugh again. It is the kind of film you
will watch over and over again.

This is a great family movie! The story takes place during the Great Depression, and gives insight into the happenings and struggles of that era. It is also a bird's-eye view into a more innocent time, although the heroine, Kit, solves the mystery of a string of burglaries that have been blamed on poor homeless travelers (hobos). The overall message: Don't let life and hard times get you down! If you can dream and hold onto that dream, with grit and determination, you will succeed in the end!

Great movie about a girl who lives through the depression. A family movie that is wholesome and enjoyable. We highly recommend it!!
