I Kissed Dating Goodbye by Joshua Harris (1999, Audio Cassette)

I bought these tapes for my 13 year old who "liked" one boy after another and could not wait to start dating. When I first put the tape in when we in the car she rolled her eyes and cringed. Now the first thing she does when we get in the car is turn the tape on. Yesturday we picked up a friend of hers and she wanted to play the tapes for the friend, later on I asked her if she was embarrased by the friend listening to the tape she said, "NO, I think it is cool and if she is my friend she won't care that I listen to stuff like that". I couldn't believe it, what a change in her heart!! Now she says she wants to hold off on dating and boys and concentrate on being a kid right now! This man has truly been touched by the Holy Spirit! Josh Harris makes NOT dating sound cool!!!! It makes sense!!

This book is amazing. It's great for any single christian person that is having trouble with the dating sceen and doesn't know what to do or where to turn. Harris is a great author for such a young age !

This book is very well written and easy to read. If you have children who are dating or who will be dating soon, this book is a great resource. My husband, 16 year old daughter and I all read this book. It has great advice which is backed by scripture and common sense. Your kids may not want to listen to you, but the author of the book is young and really speaks to his audience. It has definitely changed the way my daughter (and my husband and I) view dating.

I purchased this book, the sequel and the audios for my kids. Although this advice may seem archaic to 99% of the population, if you've ever been hurt by a relationship that you thought would last forever; you will quickly identify with his reasoning.

A great book for all but especially moms, dads & teens!

I bought this audio book for my teenage children (age 15 and 17)by their request. They love it. They have listened to it so many times that thay are wearing the tape out. The wisdom in this book is very practical to any single person who has an understanding the word of GOD and is truly seeking GOD's will in there life. The masterful way Joshua explains this subject is down to earth and easy to understand. He's not stuffy or boring, but instead keeps you interested and wanting more. He helps you avoid the heart ace and the pit falls of coutship, but rather shows you how to have a positive painfree search for that someone to spend your life with.

This item is great! It follows along in hte book and is god to help the reader better understand what he/she is reading. Highly recomended!

This book will challenge a single person to be content in their singleness. It shows a lot of pitfalls in the dating most of us grew up with. This young man has a lot of wisdom for his age.
