Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian (2007, Paperback)

I had read the second of the series first and had to get the first. It did not disappoint. Although really close to the Brotherhood series of J.R. Ward..which is #1 in my book...it is still an excellent read. Full of sexilicious vampire warriors and heroines whose shoes you wish you were in, excitement and drama, this series is not to be missed. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

I actually read Kiss of Crimson, the second book in the series, first. I had to read Kiss of Midnight then! This author has me caught. The characters, Dante and Lucan are great. Fast moving story and good plot, to save the young vamps from the hell of addiction. Great new look to the "vampire" world. It's a good blend of the good and bad in the world of the "dark side". Has all the right stuff, heros, heroines, the good, bad and the ugly.
Can't wait for the next one!!

I bought this book because I really love paranormal romance books especailly in series. This was the first book I read by Lara Adrian and it will NOT be the last. In fact I am currently read the second book in The Midnight Breeds Series, Kiss of Crimson. I did not want to put this book down. In fact I got frustrated because it is a kind of long book and I couldn't read faster because I wanted to know what was going to happen next!!! The end of this book is definitely a jaw dropper, something you don't see coming!!! If you like paranormal vampire romance this is a MUST READ!!!! I can't wait to finish the second one so I can read the 3rd and 4th ones.

This book is as great to read as her other books in this group. The action is great, the story is great & the people in the story are just trying to live a life that they can handle.

I totally love the plot, the awesome good guys and the evil bad guys. Was well worth reading! J.R. Ward first got me started on Vamps with her Black Dagger Brotherhood (My absolute favorite series to date).

Awesome book, definately good for the over 21 crowd and not for kids LOL. The interesting thing is the series reminds me of The Black Dagger Brotherhood as the style and circumstances are very similar. I wonder who wrote which one first.
